Route from Moorth Ruins to Rauh Base
- Begin at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in Scadu Altus and head northeast toward a small, triangular pool of water.
- Enter the cave beside the pool and follow its main path. When you reach a glowing tree, take the path to the right and descend into the swamp.
- In the swamp, turn left and pass beneath the rock. The route leads into Rauh Base, with the Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace directly ahead.
The landmarks in order are: Moorth Ruins grace, triangular pool, cave, glowing tree, right-hand descent, swamp, and the left turn beneath the rock. IGN’s Rauh Base route and Polygon’s guide describe this cave approach.

Where to find the Rauh Ruins map fragment
The Rauh Ruins map fragment is not at the cave entrance or the Ancient Ruins Base grace. From the grace, continue down the hill past the ruins. Two large enemies—one carrying a bow and one an axe—guard the approach. You can fight them or run past; the map fragment is on a stele near ruined buildings beyond them. Rauh Base versus the Ancient Ruins of Rauh
Rauh Base is the lower area at the foot of the ancient ruins. It is separate from the upper Ancient Ruins of Rauh, so reaching the Ancient Ruins Base grace does not mean you have reached the upper ruins. PC Gamer describes access to the upper area through Shadow Keep; Rauh Base has the separate cave route from Moorth Ruins. PC Gamer’s Rauh Ruins map guide discusses the distinction.

Do you need to defeat a boss first?
The route guides describe reaching Rauh Base through the cave from Moorth Ruins. They do not identify a boss defeat or quest item as a prerequisite for this route, so follow the directions above rather than assuming a separate unlock is required.
