When did Shadow of the Erdtree unlock?
Bandai Namco’s announced schedule placed PC unlocks at specific regional times and most console unlocks at midnight local time on June 21, 2024. Some players’ local calendars showed June 20: that applied to PC in several regions and to console players in parts of the United States. Bandai Namco Europe published the global schedule on June 14, 2024.

Why PC and console times differed
The publisher gave PC players specific regional unlock times, so a PC release could fall on the evening of June 20 or the morning of June 21 depending on location. Its console schedule generally used midnight local time on June 21, with U.S. console launches listed separately: 9:00 p.m. PDT, 11:00 p.m. CDT, and midnight EDT on June 21. That is why “midnight local time” does not describe every U.S. console unlock.
