Was bietet die kostenlose Demo – und was passiert mit dem Spielstand?
Die Demo ist seit dem 1. Oktober 2026 auf Steam, PS5 und Xbox Series X|S verfügbar. Steam gibt ihre Länge mit 45 bis 60 Minuten an; Focus beschreibt sie als weniger als eine Stunde. Sie enthält das Prolog-Tutorial und die ersten Spielabschnitte. Steam-Demoseite · Focus Entertainment
Der entscheidende Haken: Der Spielstand aus der Demo wird beim Start der Vollversion nicht übertragen. Steam weist außerdem darauf hin, dass die Demo gegenüber dem vollständigen Spiel angepasst wurde. Wer die Demo spielt, sollte also damit rechnen, den Anfang beim Release erneut zu spielen. Was für ein Spiel ist Elta?
Afterburner Studios, das Team hinter Dreamscaper, bezeichnet Elta: Defy All Gods als „Brawlervania“: ein Action-Platform-Spiel, das Kampfkunst und Magie mit Erkundung und Plattformmanövern verbindet. Die Geschichte folgt Victus, einem Krieger aus einer nomadischen Zivilisation, auf der Suche nach dem verlorenen Drachengott Elta. Die Vollversion führt durch drei Science-Fantasy-Welten. Was kosten das Spiel, wie lang ist es und gibt es einen Vorbestellerbonus?
Focus Entertainment nennt für das Vollspiel einen Preis von 29,99 Euro beziehungsweise 29,99 US-Dollar und eine Spieldauer von 15 bis 20 Stunden. Vorbesteller erhalten den Vanguard-Armor-Skin für Victus; dabei handelt es sich um einen kosmetischen Bonus. Das sind die vom Publisher 2026 veröffentlichten Angaben, keine unabhängigen Messwerte. Ian Cofino, Mitgründer und Game Director bei Afterburner Studios, schrieb im offiziellen PlayStation-Beitrag: „At every stage of development, we’ve gotten the same feedback: this is a game that must be felt, controller in hand, rather than just watched.“ Er hebt darin auch die DualSense-Haptik hervor: Schläge und Landungen sollen sich taktil gewichtig anfühlen.
