The most powerful resource command, all your base are belong to us, is reported to add 100,000 of every resource. Individual commands add 1,000 food, gold, iron, rock, or wood. These cheats are generally documented for single-player use, and the game setup or map mode can determine whether they work.
This reference covers the resource codes first, then map, construction, unit and victory commands, the mode restrictions reported by two game-specific sources, and legitimate alternatives in the official manual.

How to enter Empire Earth cheat codes
The procedure documented by The Sierra Help Pages for The Art of Conquest is simple:
- Start a game and wait until you are controlling your civilization.
- Press Enter to open the in-game message or cheat prompt.
- Type the code, including spaces, punctuation and capitalization where shown.
- Press Enter a second time to submit it.
- Check your resources, map, units or construction queue for the reported effect before entering another command.
Use the command while actively playing rather than at a title-screen menu. Save first if the scenario matters to you: several commands alter the map, unit levels, construction speed or win state, and the references do not describe an undo command.
#1 Best Overall
- 14 different Epochs – replay all of human history or just the span of time that interests you
- Battle on land, air, and sea – in addition to armies, you can build wide varieties of ships and aircrafts.
- Enlist great historical Heroes – such as William the Conqueror and Patton – to enhance your military abilities.
- Command history's best-known civilizations, such as the Greeks, English, French and Germans, or evolve your own as you play by choosing from well over 100 unique attributes. Colonize or conquer surrounding territories and establish new settlements. Plan and build walled towns and city-states. Construct Temples and Hospitals to protect and enhance your growing empire. Your Town Centers inspire defenders to fight harder and can be transformed into powerful Capitals. Wood, coal, oil and other natural resources provide raw materials for expansion. Over a dozen technology tracks offer numerous opportunities for further advancement.
- Train more than 200 types of combat units from every era in history, including Earth's future. Instantly improve the combat abilities of your troops with specific upgrades. Lead your armies to glorious victory with the help of Charlemagne, Churchill and other great heroes, from not only yesterday but also today and tomorrow. Fight in good weather during the day on an open plain, or carry out surprise assaults in the black of night or the dead of winter. Attack unsuspecting enemies with stealthy submarines and aircraft. Soften up an enemy position with artillery fire, carpet-bombing, or off-shore shelling, or launch ballistic missiles. Wage epic sky battles with over 30 types of aircraft, such as Sopwith Camels, Spitfires, F-15s, Apache Gunships and B-2 Bombers. Fight massive naval engagements with more than 40 different ships, from 16th Century ships-of-the-line to modern aircraft carriers. Board and capture enemy vessels. Train colossal and intelligent 'mechs to fight the battles of the future.
The Empire Earth Community list also includes display cheats, which is intended to show the available codes in the game. Because code support can vary by release, scenario and setup, this is a useful first check instead of assuming that every historical list applies to your installation.
If the prompt is shared with ordinary multiplayer chat, make sure the text cursor is active before typing. Submit one command at a time and look for a visible result. A resource total, a completed building, a changed map, or a unit-status change is a better confirmation than repeatedly entering the same phrase.

| Code | Reported effect | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
all your base are belong to us |
Adds 100,000 of every resource | Listed by both references; the amount is the figure stated by each source. |
boston food sucks |
Adds 1,000 food | Empire Earth Community list. |
atm |
Adds 1,000 gold | The Community list gives the 1,000 amount; Sierra Help Pages describes the command as giving more gold without specifying the same figure. |
creatine |
Adds 1,000 iron | Listed by both references. |
rock&roll |
Adds 1,000 rock | Empire Earth Community list. |
you said wood |
Adds 1,000 wood | Listed by both references. |
Enter the phrases exactly as displayed. The ampersand in rock&roll is part of the code, and the multiword commands require their spaces. If a command appears to do nothing, use display cheats and check the mode requirements below before trying alternate spellings.
Choose the narrowest command that fits your test. For example, use boston food sucks when you are checking whether a food-heavy unit can be supported, or you said wood when you only need building material. The all-resource command is convenient for a technology or late-era demonstration, but it also removes the need to balance every economy category.
The figures are additions, not a promise of a particular final total. Your stockpile, storage rules and the scenario’s current state determine what you see after submission. Check each resource counter rather than assuming a failed command simply because one category is capped or displayed differently.
Map, unit, construction and victory codes
The Community reference lists several commands that do more than increase supplies. They are grouped here by the game system they affect so you can understand the consequence before using one.
Recommended Free Tools
Map and visibility
| Code | Reported effect |
|---|---|
my name is methos |
Reveals the full map, provides resources and enables instant unit formation. It is a broad advantage, not a resource-only command. |
asus drivers |
Reveals the full map. |
columbus |
Reveals fish; the source also describes fish and animals. |
headshot |
Removes objects from the map. |
Use the two full-map commands for different purposes only if you accept the same strategic consequence: unexplored territory becomes visible immediately. columbus is more specific if your goal is locating aquatic food or the animals described by the list. headshot is potentially destructive because removing map objects can change paths, cover and available resources.
Buildings, units and abilities
| Code | Reported effect |
|---|---|
coffee train |
Completes buildings under construction and heals units. |
BrainStorm |
Makes everything build almost instantly. |
the quotable patella |
Allows units to reach level 10. |
I have the power |
Fills energy for units with special attacks. |
Friendly skies |
Refills planes. |
coffee train and BrainStorm overlap in construction testing, but they are not described as identical: one completes buildings already under construction and heals units, while the other makes everything build almost instantly. The level and energy commands affect combat capability rather than the economy, so use them in a controlled save if you are trying to learn how a unit normally performs.
Age and game outcome
| Code | Reported effect |
|---|---|
bam # |
Sets an age. The Community list gives a range of 2–14 for Empire Earth and 2–15 for The Art of Conquest, and says the command cannot reduce you below your current age. |
somebody set up us the bomb |
Wins the game. |
ahhhcool |
Loses the game. |
For bam #, replace the number sign with the desired age number in the range that applies to your game. The reported restriction means it is an advancement command, not a way to roll a civilization back to an earlier age. The range differs between Empire Earth and The Art of Conquest, so do not copy the latter’s maximum into an Empire Earth match.
Why a code may not work
The two references do not state one universal rule for every edition, campaign and scenario. Treat their qualifications as context-specific rather than assuming that a command is broken.
Single-player and game-creation settings
The Empire Earth Community says its cheats are for single-player games and require the cheat setting to be selected when creating the game. If you started a match without enabling that option, begin a new single-player game with the setting selected and test display cheats.
Rank #3
- In Empire Earth, your strategic & tactical skills will take you through 14 epochs, from the caveman days to World War 2 - and beyond
- Build & manage your civilizations, prepare for war, and keep your soldiers' morale up
- Create your own timeline, where the Vikings conquered Europe, or the Aztecs ruled
- Create Wonders and Heroes to add extra power to your civilization
- In Empire Earth - Age Of Conquest, you'll try to ensure your civilization reaches the stars
This also explains why a command can work in one saved game and fail in another: the setting belongs to the game setup, not merely to the keyboard sequence. Do not infer that a successful single-player test authorizes use in multiplayer. The cited list specifically limits its claim to single-player.
Random Map requirement in The Art of Conquest reference
The Sierra Help Pages states that its Art of Conquest cheat list works only in Random Map mode. That is a qualification attached to that Art of Conquest list; it should not be expanded into a claim that every Empire Earth release or every scenario follows the same rule.
Campaigns and unofficial workarounds
The Community page mentions a way to use codes in campaigns and links to a video, but does not explain the procedure on the page itself. There is therefore no documented, reliably supported campaign method to reproduce here. Do not treat a third-party workaround as an official feature.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Spelling, prompt and state checks
- Open the prompt with Enter while the game is running; typing into another chat or name field will not activate a code.
- Preserve spaces and punctuation. For example,
rock&rollis not the same text as “rock and roll.” - Use the capitalization shown for entries such as
BrainStorm,I have the powerandFriendly skies. - After submission, inspect the relevant system: resources for supply commands, the construction queue for build commands, and the map or unit panel for visibility and unit commands.
- Remember that broad commands can change several systems at once. If you need only supplies, use a resource-specific command rather than
my name is methos. - Do not assume that a code has failed while the game is paused, between scenarios, or after the victory screen. Return to active play and submit it from the normal control view.
Using cheats without damaging a scenario
Cheats are best treated as optional single-player tools. Make a manual save before testing a map-changing, age-changing or outcome command, and keep a separate save for normal play. Use one command at a time so you can identify which effect changed the game. If you are learning a campaign or evaluating a build order, avoid instant construction, level-10 units and automatic victory until you have finished the exercise; those commands remove the feedback that the scenario is designed to provide.
For exploration, map-reveal commands can expose strategic geography, but they also remove reconnaissance as a gameplay challenge. Likewise, a full-resource command can let you test late-era units without proving that your economy can support them. Decide whether your goal is experimentation, accessibility, troubleshooting or a normal victory before entering a code.
A useful test sequence is to create a fresh eligible single-player game, save immediately, enter display cheats, then test one narrow resource command. Record the result before trying a broad command. If you are comparing construction behavior, make a second save with a building already in progress so that coffee train has a clear target. This keeps a normal campaign save insulated from experiments.

Learning and creating scenarios instead of using shortcuts
The official Empire Earth manual distinguishes Random Map games from Campaigns and Scenarios and describes Learning Scenarios as guided lessons. Those lessons are the better option when you want to understand gathering, production, technology progression or combat rather than bypass them.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsLearning Scenarios
Choose a Learning Scenario when you want structured practice with objectives and an intended sequence. It preserves the cause-and-effect relationship between your decisions and the result, which resource cheats can obscure. A guided lesson is also preferable when you are unfamiliar with the interface and want the game to introduce systems in a controlled order.
Scenario Editor
The manual describes the Scenario Editor as a tool for making maps, setting explicit objectives, choosing player starting conditions and creating triggers. Its stated purpose is summarized in the manual’s wording: “The Scenario Editor allows you to create Empire Earth maps and specify explicit goals which the player(s) must accomplish to win.” This gives you control similar to a cheat-enabled sandbox while keeping rules, goals and events deliberate.
An editor-made scenario can isolate a question that a cheat cannot answer cleanly. You can establish a chosen starting condition, define an objective, and use triggers to create an event rather than instantly winning. That makes repeated testing easier to understand and preserves a meaningful success condition.
| What you want | Best fit | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Immediate supplies or a quick map reveal | A resource or visibility code in an eligible single-player setup | Can remove economic and reconnaissance challenges. |
| Guided practice | Learning Scenarios | Less freedom than a custom map, but clearer instruction and progression. |
| Custom objectives, starts and events | Scenario Editor | Requires designing the map and triggers instead of entering one command. |
Quick checklist before entering a code
- Confirm you are in a single-player game.
- For a new game, enable the cheat option during setup if your version exposes it.
- If you are playing The Art of Conquest, use Random Map mode for the list documented by Sierra Help Pages.
- Press Enter, type the exact phrase, then press Enter again.
- Run
display cheatsto inspect what your installation recognizes. - Save before using commands that reveal the map, alter ages, change units, finish construction or decide the outcome.
- Test a narrow resource code before using a command with several reported effects.
The resource commands are the least disruptive way to test the system, while map, unit and victory commands can permanently change the character of a match. When you want repeatable experimentation with explicit goals, the manual’s Learning Scenarios and Scenario Editor provide a rules-based alternative.
