If you mean the original 2014 Endless Legend on Windows or Mac OS X, trainer listings currently describe five cheats rather than four: Unlimited Dust, Unlimited Influence, Unlimited Research, Unlimited Resources and Super Production. The practical process is to match the trainer to your game build and distribution, launch the game through the trainer app when required, load a game, establish or select a city, and only then enable options. Compatibility statements come from the trainer providers; they are not independent tests, and a 2019 community report describes a freeze and crash on version 1.7.5.
Identify the game before you download anything
Endless Legend is Amplitude Studios’ turn-based 4X fantasy strategy game, published by Iceberg Interactive and released for Windows and Mac OS X in September 2014. That identification matters because search results also contain ENDLESS Legend 2 and other games in the Endless series. A trainer for the sequel is not automatically a trainer for the 2014 game, even when the names look nearly identical.

The release information is historical identification, not a guarantee that a particular store still sells or updates the game. Check the title shown in your own library, the executable’s version, and the distribution (for example, Steam, a Windows Store installation or Xbox Game Pass for Windows) before selecting a trainer.

The current WeMod listing names five options. The page content therefore does not match the “+4 Options” wording in the assignment title; treat that parenthetical as stale or tied to an older page state rather than as a promise of four functions.

These are provider page contents, not results from a controlled test. A label such as “unlimited” describes the intended cheat function, but it does not prove that the option works on your patch, affects every city, or remains active after a reload.
Check build and distribution compatibility first
Trainer software works by interacting with a particular game build. Before activating anything, record the version shown by the game launcher or main menu and the store or subscription edition you installed. Do not select a trainer solely because the game title matches.
- Exact title: choose the original Endless Legend, not ENDLESS Legend 2.
- Game version: compare the displayed build with the version identified by the trainer page or app.
- Distribution: note whether your copy is from Steam, Windows Store or Xbox Game Pass for Windows. Cheat Happens’ page names those distributions, but a listing is not proof that every current build of each one is supported.
- Provider status: treat an app’s supported or unsupported indicator as a provider statement, not an independent compatibility certification.
Historical build information on the Cheat Happens page makes version selection particularly important. If the page offers several trainer builds, choose the one that corresponds to your installed patch and distribution instead of assuming the newest file is universal.

How to use the WeMod trainer workflow
WeMod describes a simple sequence in its Endless Legend page. The names of buttons can change as the app is updated, so use the labels displayed in your installed version.

- Open the trainer app and find Endless Legend. Use the game’s entry for the original title. If more than one Endless game appears, verify the artwork and title before proceeding.
- Let the app detect your installation. WeMod says it detects the installed game version and indicates whether that version is supported. If the app reports no support, stop rather than forcing options from another build.
- Launch the game from the app. The provider’s workflow is to open the game in WeMod and then launch it. If your installation starts through a separate launcher, allow that launcher to finish before testing an option.
- Load a campaign or a saved game. Wait until you are fully in the playable map rather than enabling cheats at a title screen or loading screen.
- Establish or select a city. A WeMod community trainer post specifically advises doing this after loading the game and before activating mods. Selecting a city gives the trainer an in-game object to address.
- Enable one option at a time. Start with the resource or production effect you actually need. Confirm the in-game result, then test another option if necessary. This isolates a problematic toggle and makes it easier to turn off.
- Disable options before ending the session. Turn off toggles you no longer need and save normally. This is a cautious operating practice, not a guarantee that every effect is removed from a save.
WeMod’s own short instruction is: “After the game loads and once you’re in-game, you can start enabling different cheats!” The important timing detail is “in-game”: activating at the wrong screen can make an otherwise supported trainer appear broken.
What each option is useful for in a campaign
Unlimited Dust
Dust is the named economy resource targeted by this option. A player might use it to test purchases or recover from an economy bottleneck, but the listing does not state whether the toggle changes the displayed balance, prevents deductions, or applies only after a transaction. Verify the behavior in a disposable save before relying on it in a long campaign.
Unlimited Influence
Influence is listed separately from Dust, so do not assume that enabling one supplies the other. If you use the option for diplomacy or other influence costs, watch the relevant in-game value after one transaction and then disable it if the behavior is not what you expected.
Unlimited Research
The provider uses the research label, but the page does not define whether it affects research points, progress, or completion timing. Select a known research project, observe one update, and avoid stacking additional toggles until you know what changed.

Unlimited Resources
This broad label is not a complete list of resource types. Because the listing does not specify its scope, treat it as an option to test rather than proof that every strategic or luxury resource becomes unlimited.
Super Production
Super Production targets city production. The listing gives no fixed multiplier or instant-completion promise. Check a city’s production queue after activation and remember that the result may depend on the selected city and the trainer’s supported build.

Cheat Happens also lists trainer builds for Endless Legend and names Steam, Windows Store and Xbox Game Pass for Windows distributions. Use that page as a version-selection reference, not as evidence that every current edition is compatible. Its historical build information is a reason to compare the trainer’s stated build with the one installed on your computer.

Troubleshooting when a toggle does nothing
The game is not detected
- Confirm that the selected entry is the original Endless Legend, not the sequel.
- Check the installed patch number and distribution against the trainer’s stated support.
- Launch through the provider’s documented workflow instead of starting the executable first.
- If the provider marks the build unsupported, wait for a matching trainer rather than trying a nearby version.
The option appears enabled but has no effect
- Load a campaign and select a city before activation, as the community instructions advise.
- Test one toggle at a time and perform a single relevant action so you can see whether the value changes.
- Turn the option off, reload the save and test again if the effect is unclear.
The game freezes or crashes
A user in the WeMod community trainer thread reported freezing and a crash on version 1.7.5. The report is dated to 2019 and is anecdotal; it does not establish that current versions crash. If you encounter the same symptom, disable all options, restart the game without the trainer, and return to an earlier save. Then verify the exact build and ask the provider whether a matching trainer exists. Do not treat a successful launch on one version as proof of stability on another.
A save behaves differently after testing
Keep an unmodified save before enabling any trainer. If a campaign behaves unexpectedly, close the trainer, reload that backup and continue without the affected option. The available evidence does not establish how any listed toggle changes save data, so preserving a clean restore point is the sensible safeguard.
Practical rules for using trainers responsibly
- Use offline, single-player saves where permitted. Follow the game’s rules and any platform terms; the listings supplied here do not establish multiplayer or achievement behavior.
- Do not infer safety from popularity. Provider pages and user comments are not security audits. Obtain trainer software only from the provider page you have verified and scan downloaded files with your normal security tools.
- Keep the trainer and game versions aligned. A game update can invalidate an otherwise working option.
- Record what you changed. Note the option, build and save used so you can reproduce or undo a result.
- Expect labels, not guarantees. “Unlimited” and “Super Production” are names of functions, not promises about exact amounts, duration or universal compatibility.
Endless Legend trainer decision checklist
Use this short check before pressing an activation key:
- Is the game the original 2014 Endless Legend?
- What patch number and distribution are installed?
- Does the provider identify that build as supported?
- Did the game load to a playable map, with a city established or selected?
- Did you make a clean backup save?
- Are you enabling only one option first?
- Can you reproduce the result and turn the option off if necessary?
If any answer is no, resolve that item before experimenting. This avoids the most common confusion: using a sequel trainer, mixing builds, activating before a city exists, or blaming the game for a provider mismatch.
Bottom line on the “+4 Options” title
For the original Endless Legend, the WeMod page lists five options, not four. The usable path is version matching, provider-led launch, loading into a campaign, selecting a city, and cautious one-at-a-time activation. Cheat Happens lists builds for several Windows distributions, but those listings still require you to verify your exact patch. Compatibility and stability remain provider claims or anecdotal reports rather than independently verified results.
