If you mean cheat software, exploit tools or unauthorized modifications, using them in Enlisted risks penalties that Gaijin says can include deletion of your account. If you mean cheat codes, the official pages reviewed for this guide do not publish a code catalogue or redemption procedure, so treat code claims cautiously. The reliable path is to use the game’s documented squad mechanics—orders, soldier switching and specialist selection—to improve your results, then apply disciplined close-quarters tactics when an SMG fits the situation.
Cheats, cheat codes and fair-play rules are different things
Searches for “Enlisted cheats” combine two unrelated ideas. A cheat tool is third-party software, a modified client, a device or an exploit intended to provide an unfair advantage. A cheat code is an intentional input or redemption string supplied by the developer. Ordinary strategy—better squad orders, positioning and weapon handling—is neither.

Gaijin’s Enlisted Specific Rules prohibit exploiting bugs and using unauthorized modifications, cheats, software or devices to gain an advantage. The rules describe these actions as unsporting conduct and say sanctions can extend to deletion of a Gaijin account. Their section 6.1.2 lists the prohibited activity as: “Exploiting Game bugs, errors, and flaws.” That is a rule statement, not a warning that every mistake or accidental glitch will automatically delete an account; the practical decision is to stop using an exploit once you recognize it and report or avoid it.
Gaijin announced on 16 September 2024 that Enlisted was transitioning to BattlEye anti-cheat. The announcement says BattlEye checks interference with game processes on both server and client sides while the game client is running. It also states: “BattlEye will only work while the Enlisted client is running and will not affect your system’s performance!” That performance wording is Gaijin’s claim, not an independent benchmark. A legitimate player should keep the game client and operating system unmodified, install updates through normal channels and avoid any program advertised as an injector, unlocker, trainer or bypass.

Does Enlisted have working cheat codes?
The official pages reviewed for this guide do not provide a cheat-code catalogue, code-redemption screen, command list or current promotion that functions as a gameplay cheat. That is an evidence limit, not proof that no code has ever existed in any build, event or test environment. A page promising unlimited ammunition, invulnerability or instant progression is therefore not verified merely because it uses the game’s name.
If you encounter a supposed code, use this verification sequence before entering anything:
- Check whether the claim appears in a current announcement, support article or in-game notice from Gaijin.
- Confirm that the instructions describe a normal game menu rather than downloading an executable, replacing files or disabling security software.
- Never provide your Gaijin login, one-time code, recovery email or payment details to a code site.
- Do not test a code in a live match if it depends on a bug, altered client or external tool. The rules cover attempts to gain an advantage, not only successful attempts.
Codes for cosmetics or time-limited events, if officially announced in the future, would be separate from an advantage-granting cheat. Verify the event dates and region before assuming a string is still valid.

Enlisted is a World War II squad-based shooter available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The official overview describes a structure in which you directly control one soldier while the remaining squad members are AI-controlled, follow your orders and can be taken over by switching between soldiers. That system matters more than any unverified code because every life in the squad can extend your ability to contest an objective.

Gaijin describes the weapons, uniforms and vehicle capabilities as based on historical facts and presents specialist classes and varied weapons as core features. This is the publisher’s description, not an independent historical assessment or a promise that every weapon has identical behavior across updates. Build your decisions around the role shown in the current game client rather than an old tier list.
Give orders that support the objective
Use the squad-order system to make AI soldiers contribute instead of trailing behind you. Before moving into a capture area, place the squad where its members can support the approach and survive the first exchange. When the objective shifts, update the order rather than leaving the squad defending an obsolete location. The useful question is not “What order gets the most kills?” but “What order keeps enough soldiers relevant to the current objective?”
Switch before a lost soldier becomes a lost squad
Because you can switch to surviving squad members, a dangerous push does not have to end the action when the soldier you were controlling is hit. Switch to a safer member when your current position is exposed, then use that new viewpoint to continue the order or reposition the group. This is a documented mechanic with a major tactical implication: preserving squad presence can be more valuable than forcing one heroic advance.

Specialist classes exist for different battlefield tasks. Select the squad whose documented role matches the immediate problem—holding, clearing, supporting or moving—rather than selecting a favorite class for every situation. If the current roster or update changes class names, capacities or equipment, follow the descriptions in your version of the game.

SMG strategies that do not depend on invented statistics
The official material reviewed here does not publish weapon-level SMG damage, recoil, range thresholds, ammunition capacities or a tested “best” setup. No responsible guide can turn those missing figures into a ranking. The strategies below are therefore role-based decisions you can apply while checking the exact weapon and squad information displayed in your current client.
Use an SMG where its role makes sense
When an SMG is assigned to a squad or class intended for close fighting, plan routes that bring you to buildings, trenches, corners and objective approaches where short engagements are likely. Do not treat that role description as a measured claim that every SMG dominates a particular distance. If the map forces a long sightline, let a better-suited squad member or weapon cover it and move toward terrain that matches the SMG’s intended use.
Let the squad create the opening
Order AI members to support the objective before you enter a room or narrow approach. Their presence can draw attention, secure a flank or keep the squad active while you control the soldier carrying the SMG. Once the immediate danger changes, switch soldiers rather than remaining attached to a single attacker. This uses documented squad behavior without assuming a specific recoil pattern or fire-rate advantage.
Control the engagement instead of chasing a number
Use cover, break line of sight after an exchange and attack from an angle that limits how many opponents can respond at once. Fire in the manner that the current weapon’s handling allows; do not copy burst lengths or sensitivity values from an older video unless they match your platform, update and loadout. If an SMG feels unreliable outside close range, change the route or squad role rather than claiming the weapon is broken or searching for a recoil bypass.

Switch when the situation no longer favors the SMG
Switch to a surviving squad member when the current soldier is pinned, exposed or carrying the wrong tool for the next task. A specialist with a different documented role may be more useful for the objective than an SMG carrier who cannot reach effective cover. The switch is also a recovery option after a failed push: regroup the remaining AI soldiers, issue a new order and approach from a safer direction.
A practical decision table for SMG-equipped squads
| Situation | Priority | SMG application | When to switch or reposition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Objective is inside buildings or dense cover | Keep the squad close enough to support the capture | Lead only after an order places AI support nearby; clear one angle at a time | Switch if the lead soldier is isolated or the squad order no longer matches the objective |
| Approach crosses open ground | Reduce exposure and preserve squad members | Use cover and movement to reach a closer engagement; do not force a long-range duel | Reposition or use a squad member whose role fits the sightline |
| Your controlled soldier is hit | Keep the squad active | Switch to a surviving soldier and continue the existing order if it remains useful | Issue a new order when the objective or threat has changed |
| Enemy pressure comes from several directions | Limit the number of angles you must defend | Fight from cover and avoid overextending for a single target | Fall back, regroup AI members and attack from a controlled angle |
| Weapon or class data changed after an update | Use current in-game information | Recheck the displayed role, handling and capacity before relying on old advice | Replace outdated routines; do not install a “fix” or modified file |
Controls and mechanics: how to learn them safely
Button names and bindings differ by PC, Xbox and PlayStation, and the official material supplied for this guide does not publish a universal control chart. Open the controls section in your current client and identify four actions before entering a serious match: issuing a squad order, switching soldiers, changing the active weapon and checking the objective. Practice those actions in a low-pressure match or training context if available. A community post can reveal the question you need answered, but it is not authoritative documentation for a particular platform or update.
If an action does not work, check whether the input is unbound, whether another action shares the key, and whether the game accepted the order indicator. Do not download a macro or automation tool to compensate for an inconvenient binding; an external device or software used to gain an advantage can fall under the rules’ prohibition.
Free-to-play access, Gold and Battle Pass context
The official Enlisted site describes the game as free to play with no limitations. It also lists optional Gold and premium squads. Those purchases are not prerequisites for learning squad orders, switching soldiers or applying close-quarters tactics, and buying one does not guarantee better results.
Gaijin Support describes a Battle Pass with free and Elite reward tracks; the Elite track is bought with in-game Gold. Season contents, prices and dates can change, so treat any older Battle Pass explanation as historical unless the current support article confirms it. Do not confuse a reward-track code or promotional item with a cheat that changes combat rules.
What to do when a cheat claim causes a problem
A download asks you to disable security software
Cancel it, remove the file and run a security check. A legitimate game update or official event should not require an injector, DLL replacement or disabled anti-cheat service.
Your account receives a warning or restriction
Stop using every unofficial tool, preserve the notice and follow Gaijin’s support process. Do not create additional accounts to evade a sanction or continue testing the same exploit. The published rules make account deletion a possible sanction, so experimentation is not a safe way to verify a code.

An old guide’s code or SMG setup no longer matches
Check its publication date and update context, then compare the current in-game descriptions and controls. The reviewed official pages contain no dated weapon-performance dataset that can validate recoil, range or damage claims. Treat precise numbers without a current source as unverified rather than as a reason to modify the client.
Fair-play checklist for every match
- Use an unmodified game client and normal platform controls.
- Ignore offers of unlimited resources, wall visibility, aim assistance or “undetected” status.
- Issue squad orders that serve the active objective.
- Switch to surviving soldiers when your current position is lost.
- Choose a specialist squad whose documented role fits the terrain and task.
- Use an SMG for the close-quarters situations your current loadout supports, without inventing performance figures.
- Verify any event reward, code or Battle Pass detail in a current official announcement.
The useful answer to “Enlisted cheats”
There is no verified official cheat-code catalogue or SMG ranking to rely on in the material available for this guide. The dependable advantage comes from the game’s own systems: keep AI squad members relevant with orders, switch soldiers to preserve momentum, select the specialist role that matches the situation and shape engagements around the terrain your SMG can reasonably handle. Third-party cheats and exploit tools trade a short-term experiment for anti-cheat risk, possible sanctions and a compromised account.
