Epic Games’ free game for January 8–15, 2026, was Bloons TD 6. That giveaway has expired; the date range refers to 2026, not an upcoming promotion.
What was the Epic Games free game from January 8 to 15?
The listed game was Bloons TD 6, according to PC Gamer’s maintained 2026 giveaway history and a contemporaneous EGW-News report published January 1, 2026. The offer is historical as of October 8, 2026. The available sources do not establish the past offer’s claim status, price, or regional eligibility.
How Epic’s weekly free-game offer works
Epic Games Player Support says a new free game is available every Thursday at 8 AM PT and can be claimed for seven days before it rotates. Those are the general terms of the weekly schedule; they do not establish the exact end time for the Bloons TD 6 offer in every time zone. Epic Games Player Support explains the weekly free-game schedule.
What you need to claim an Epic free game
Epic’s support guidance says you need an Epic Games account with two-factor authentication enabled to claim a weekly free game. Once claimed, the game remains in your account permanently, even if you do not download it right away. See Epic’s account and claiming guidance.

Where to check current free games
Because the January 8–15, 2026 promotion has ended, check Epic’s Free Games page for current offers rather than treating an old listing as active. Epic’s page describes weekly promotions on PC and mobile, and says its mobile app is available globally on Android and in supported regions on iPhone and iPad. That general mobile information does not confirm that the specific past Bloons TD 6 offer was available on every device or in every region.
Can Epic confirm future giveaway games in advance?
No. Epic Support says it does not have advance information about future free games, so check the official Free Games page when a new weekly offer is due instead of relying on an unverified future schedule.
