The rumored Epic Games Store December 2025 giveaway list was not accurate. A December 15 report described an unverified list circulating from a QQ post, but the completed promotion offered a different lineup: Jurassic World: Evolution 2, the leak’s next prediction after Hogwarts Legacy, was not given away. For current offers, check Epic’s official Free Games page, not the old rumor.
What was on the leaked December list?
PC Guide reported on December 15, 2025, that a post originating on QQ claimed to reveal Epic’s December mystery games. The list was brought to the outlet’s attention by @9950pro on X. PC Guide said it could not verify the claim; this was not an Epic announcement. PC Guide’s report said the post claimed 16 entries but skipped a number. The headline’s “15” refers to the names reported, not a confirmed count from Epic.

The reported names were Hogwarts Legacy, Jurassic World: Evolution 2, Desperados 3, Total War: Warhammer, Tropico 5, Chicken Police, Loop Hero, Lego Batman, Commander Keen, Farming Simulator 2022, Slime Rancher 2, Terraria, Detroit: Become Human, Mortal Kombat 11, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Hogwarts Legacy was already available when the report was published; the remaining names were predictions of future mystery giveaways.
Did the rumored schedule match the actual giveaway?
No. Retrospective accounts of the completed promotion show a substantially different sequence, and identify Jurassic World: Evolution 2—the next game predicted after Hogwarts Legacy in the rumor—as incorrect. The Escapist’s giveaway recap and Gaming Amigos’ updated lineup both describe the leak as false.

The Escapist also lists Total War: Three Kingdoms and Wildgate for January 1, 2026; those are part of the promotion extending into early January, rather than the December sequence alone.
Where to check Epic’s real free games
Epic’s official Free Games page is the place to verify what is currently claimable and when an offer ends. Epic says, “Epic Games Store gives you a free game every week.” Offers and deadlines change, so check the page directly rather than relying on an old schedule. Epic Support’s instructions also direct players to that official page for promotions.

Epic’s December 11, 2025 Epic Extras holiday guide covered separate offers such as cosmetic packs, in-game currency, XP boosts, and app trials. It did not confirm the alleged game schedule.

The failed 2025 list is not evidence of a December 2026 giveaway schedule, and it does not establish whether a separate list for 2026 exists. Treat any future lineup attributed to leaks as unconfirmed unless Epic publishes it. A rumor, a retrospective checked against a completed promotion, and an official offer page are different kinds of evidence; only Epic’s listing tells you what is claimable now.
