Epic’s reported free games for October 8–15, 2026, are Out of Sight and TerraScape—not Limbo. The claim window is reported to end October 15 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. Epic says its free games refresh every Thursday, but its retrieved listing did not independently confirm this week’s specific titles.
What games are free on Epic this week?
Two reports identify Out of Sight and TerraScape as the free games for the October 8–15, 2026 window. Epic’s free-games page describes a weekly Thursday refresh, but the available official listing did not show these titles. The lineup and dates should therefore be understood as reported rather than independently confirmed by the visible Epic listing.
Out of Sight
Out of Sight is a horror puzzle-adventure about Sophie, a blind girl who uses her teddy bear’s eyes to see. She explores a dark mansion, avoids her captors, and solves puzzles as she tries to escape.
TerraScape
TerraScape is a medieval city-building puzzle game. Its central challenge is to place buildings strategically across floating islands while building a kingdom.

When does the free-game claim window end?
The reported claim period runs from October 8 through October 15, 2026, and ends at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, according to TechWiser’s October 8 report. Epic’s weekly giveaway schedule refreshes on Thursdays, but the retrieved official page did not provide region-specific eligibility details for these titles. Check the Epic Games Store listing for availability in your region.
Which game should you claim?
Choose based on the kind of play you want: Out of Sight leans on tense exploration, horror, and puzzle-solving, while TerraScape centers on strategic building in a medieval setting. The reports describe distinct genres and moods rather than two similar alternatives.

Why does the headline mention Limbo?
Limbo is not among the two games named for the October 8–15, 2026 giveaway by the current reports. Its mention appears to be a stale or mismatched headline reference; a historical record associates it with an earlier Epic mobile giveaway, not this week’s lineup.
