Epic Games Store’s final PC giveaway pair announced for September 2025 was Eastern Exorcist and Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy. The offer was scheduled to begin September 25, 2025, at 15:00 UTC; it is a past promotion, not a claim offer available now.
Which games were included?
Notebookcheck reported the lineup on September 18, 2025, describing the two games as contrasting PC experiences: a side-scrolling action RPG centered on combat with supernatural enemies, and an episodic adventure based on a Brazilian animated series. The outlet reported a combined value of $32.98, without specifying a regional pricing basis, so that figure should not be treated as a universal price.

| Game | Genre and premise |
|---|---|
| Eastern Exorcist | A 2021 2D side-scrolling action RPG. Players control Lu Yunchuan in a fantasy world of monsters and spirits, banishing demons and ghosts. Notebookcheck describes combat built around deliberate attacks, parries, and timed dodges. |
| Jorel’s Brother and The Most Important Game of the Galaxy | A 2023 indie adventure based on a Brazilian animated series. It has three episodes, multiple locations to explore, and a cartoon-style presentation. |
Notebookcheck said both games support controllers. That is an optional way to play on PC, not a stated requirement. The outlet also noted mixed player comments about Eastern Exorcist’s boss difficulty and criticism of the adventure’s second chapter; those are reception observations attributed to the outlet, not measured consensus.
When was the giveaway scheduled?
The pair was scheduled to become available on September 25, 2025, at 15:00 UTC. It was the final PC giveaway pair announced for that month. Because the dates have passed, neither game should be presented as claimable through this offer now.

How Epic’s weekly free-game claims work now
Epic’s current support guidance says a new weekly game is made available every Thursday at 8 AM PT, with seven days to claim it. A claimed game stays in the user’s library permanently, and an Epic account with two-factor authentication is required. These are Epic’s general current instructions; they do not independently document the archived mechanics of this particular 2025 promotion. Check Epic’s weekly free-game help page and Free Games page for current offers and guidance.
