The day-by-day lineup below was reported as a leak and later listed retrospectively by Beebom; Epic did not publish it as an official schedule. The offers have expired.
What Epic officially confirmed
Epic’s December 12, 2024 buyer’s guide set the sale window from December 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. ET (4 p.m. GMT / 5 p.m. CET) through January 9, 2025, at the same listed times. It also confirmed that 16 free games would be revealed during the sale: “We’re once again piling up presents with 16 free games that will be revealed over the duration of the sale.”

The guide also announced a 10% Epic Rewards boost through January 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. EST. That was a dated promotion, not a current offer.
Was the holiday mystery game schedule leaked?
Yes. A schedule was reported as a leak attributed to @billbil_kun via Dealabs Magazine. Notebookcheck reported it on December 11, 2024, describing a week-long first offer, daily changes for the intervening games, and a week-long final offer. That reported schedule should not be confused with Epic’s official confirmation of the sale dates and 16-game total.

When did the Epic Games Holiday Sale 2024 end?
Epic’s stated sale window ended January 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET (4 p.m. GMT / 5 p.m. CET). The reported final giveaway window was also listed as January 2–9 PT. Epic Support points players to the Epic Games Store Free Games page for promotions, but that general guidance does not make the 2024 offers claimable again.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
