Which games were free on the Epic Games Store?
Notebookcheck reported that the last March 2026 giveaway featured two games: Havendock, a colony simulator, and Hyper Echelon, a 2D shoot-em-up. Its announcement gave the claim period as March 26, 2026, at 15:00 UTC through April 2, 2026, at 15:00 UTC. That promotion is over; these games are not still claimable through that offer. How Epic’s weekly giveaways work
Epic Games Store’s current storefront describes weekly free games, while Epic Support says a new weekly offer starts Thursdays at 8 a.m. PT and lasts seven days. According to that support guidance, a game claimed during its offer remains in the account library even if it is not downloaded immediately. Epic also says an account with two-factor authentication enabled is required to claim a weekly free game. These are current guidance details accessed October 8, 2026, not independently verified details of every condition for the March 2026 promotion. [Epic Games Store: Free Games] [Epic Games Player Support]
The storefront currently says free games arrive every Thursday on mobile and PC. It describes the Epic Games Store app as globally available on Android and available in supported regions on iPhone and iPad; that current copy does not establish the historical regional availability of Havendock or Hyper Echelon.
