Epic’s mobile free-games program shifted from monthly to weekly offers on March 20, 2025. The first weekly offer featured Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist, free through March 27, 2025; those games are a past promotion, not the current offer.
What changed in Epic’s mobile free-games program?
Epic announced the new schedule on March 20, 2025, saying, “Starting today, we’ll have awesome new free games on the Epic Games Store every week on mobile.” The change was to the cadence of mobile giveaways—not the launch of the Epic Games Store itself. Epic’s announcement also noted that an offer might not be available in every region.
The program began earlier with monthly offers. On January 24, 2025, Epic announced Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee and Bloons TD 6 as its mobile games and said it would offer new games monthly at first, moving to a weekly schedule later that year. That announcement distinguishes the initial monthly phase from the later weekly rollout.
What were the first weekly mobile games?
The first weekly offer, available through March 27, 2025, included:

These titles and dates describe the opening weekly promotion only. They should not be mistaken for a live offer. Epic’s mobile store is the place to check which game, if any, is currently free.
How to check whether a mobile offer applies to you
Availability depends on the device platform, the player’s region, and the dates for the specific offer. Epic’s March 2025 announcement gives an end date for the first weekly promotion and warns that regional availability can vary; it does not establish how long every later offer runs.

- Open the Epic Games Store on your mobile device and look for the current free-game offer.
- Check that the offer is available for your country or region and device platform.
- Read the offer’s claim dates before trying to claim it; do not rely on the dates from an older giveaway.
Epic’s mobile-store support page says the app can be used to install Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, Fall Guys, and other available mobile games. The reviewed information does not identify a separately purchased physical product as necessary to claim a game.
Which phones and regions were supported at launch?
At the store’s August 16, 2024 launch, Epic said it was available on Android worldwide and on iPhone in the European Union, with Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and Fall Guys among the launch games. Those were launch-era availability statements, not a definitive map of current eligibility. Epic’s launch announcement and the regional caveat on the March 2025 offer should be read as dated information; check Epic’s live store and current regional rules for your situation.

Are mobile free games still offered weekly?
GameSpot reported on August 13, 2026, that Epic’s mobile store was offering weekly free games on iOS and Android. That is later secondary reporting, not confirmation of a particular offer for every region or device. For the current title and claim window, use Epic’s live store rather than an older announcement or news article. GameSpot’s August 2026 report provides the later status check.
