At launch, Battlestate Games said existing owners would receive the announced rewards automatically, while buyers who purchased by November 15 would receive them on launch day. The reward list depended on edition: some items were for all eligible owners, more were for Edge of Darkness and Unheard owners, and two were exclusive to Unheard.
What were the Escape from Tarkov 1.0 preorder and beta rewards?
Battlestate Games announced November 15, 2025 as the 1.0 release date and confirmed the release on that day. Its launch announcement said players who already owned the game would receive the rewards automatically; those buying by November 15 would get them on launch day. Battlestate’s release announcement gave the timing, while a contemporaneous Insider Gaming report detailed the inventory.
The rewards were tied to ownership and edition, not simply to having participated in the beta. The reported list was:
| Eligibility | Reported rewards |
|---|---|
| All eligible editions | USEC Legionnaire Olive set; BEAR Sumrak Reverse set; Hideout Style: Echo of Battle; Shooting Target: Hatchling; PMC Dogtag: Immortal; Prayer Armband: Head, Eyes; and Mannequin Poses. |
| Edge of Darkness and Unheard Edition owners | Battle-Worn Gamma Container; Hideout Style: Forgotten; Prayer Armband: Loot; and Shooting Target: Ace of Spades. |
| Unheard Edition owners only | Prayer Armband: SBEU KOMAR and PMC Dogtag: Acolyte. |
This is the inventory reported by Insider Gaming on November 5, 2025, describing the developer’s announcement. Battlestate’s official post said its special PMC dogtag, unique armband, and Edge of Darkness customization details would follow. The announcement and report do not independently verify delivery to any particular account.

Did beta players automatically qualify?
Eligibility was described in terms of owning the game before release or buying it by November 15, 2025—not beta participation by itself. Battlestate said previously purchased copies would receive rewards automatically. Nikita Buyanov, Battlestate Games’ head, was quoted by Insider Gaming as saying, “If you have already purchased the game earlier, the rewards will be added automatically.” That statement describes the announced policy; it is not an account-by-account delivery audit.
Did you need to buy Tarkov again to play on Steam?
For Steam play, yes: Battlestate’s November 13, 2025 Steam announcement said players needed a Steam copy to play through Steam. Linking an existing Battlestate Games account to a Steam profile was a separate step and did not replace Steam purchase entitlement.

Were Twitch Drops part of the preorder rewards?
No. Battlestate announced a separate three-week Twitch Drops campaign starting November 15, 2025, with free and paid campaigns and rewards ranging from cosmetics to valuable loot. Drops required participation in that limited-time campaign; they were not the ownership- and edition-based launch rewards above. See Battlestate’s Twitch Drops announcement.

How do the later edition XP bonuses fit in?
A May 19, 2026 patch announcement listed raid XP bonuses by edition. These are later edition perks, not part of the original 1.0 preorder reward inventory. Battlestate said group bonuses do not stack with another bonus or with themselves.
| Edition | Raid XP bonus stated by Battlestate |
|---|---|
| Left Behind | 7% |
| Prepare for Escape | 9% |
| Edge of Darkness Limited Edition | 12% |
| The Unheard Edition | 20% |
