Delivery From the Past is a two-map Prapor quest: retrieve Secure Folder 0022 from the Tarcone Director’s office on Customs, extract with it, then plant it in Factory’s second-floor break room near Gate 3 and extract. Bring the Tarcone Director’s office key for the Customs leg. The exact starting-level requirement is disputed across published guides, so check the task screen in your version of the game.
Before you start: check the requirement and get the key
The Escape from Tarkov Wiki lists the quest requirement as level 5, while TarkovHead’s PvE quest page lists level 1. Those references do not establish whether the difference is caused by mode, edition, or updated quest data. Confirm availability and the requirement shown in your in-game task screen.
You need the Tarcone Director’s office key to reach Secure Folder 0022. The quest guide says the key can be found in drawers or on Scavs, or bartered for with Therapist. The folder appears in the office only while Delivery From the Past is active. (Escape from Tarkov Wiki; TarkovHead)
Customs: retrieve Secure Folder 0022
- Enter Customs and head to the red Paradigm warehouse on the map’s east side.
- Go up the metal stairs and use the Tarcone Director’s office key to unlock the office.
- Proceed into the second room. The quest guide warns that breaching its inner door makes noise.
- Look beneath the desk surface, on top of the drawers, and take Secure Folder 0022.
- Extract from Customs with the folder. If you die before extracting, the guide says you must retrieve it again.
If you want to postpone the Factory portion, the guide says you can move the folder to your off-raid quest inventory through Character → Tasks. (Escape from Tarkov Wiki)

Factory: plant the folder near Gate 3
- Enter Factory with Secure Folder 0022 and go to the second-floor break room near Gate 3.
- Find the sheet-metal room beside the short metal staircase to the left of the Gate 3 extraction.
- Hold the use key—F by default—for 10 seconds to place the folder. The guide recommends going prone to reduce exposure to the doorway and windows.
- After placement, extract from Factory. The folder must be placed successfully first; dying before the placement completes means you have to reacquire it.
The guide says a “Survived” extraction status is not required, and the extraction does not have to happen in the same Factory raid as the placement. Tarkov.help also corroborates the placement objective and extraction instruction. (Escape from Tarkov Wiki; Tarkov.help)

The Escape from Tarkov Wiki, accessed October 8, 2026, lists 4,000 EXP, +0.03 Prapor reputation, and 20,000 roubles base. It lists 21,000 or 23,000 roubles at the stated Intelligence Center levels, plus a Saiga-12K, four magazines, two packs of buckshot, and a Prapor loyalty-level-2 purchase unlock for 5.45x39mm FMJ.
