Nakatani Basement Stairs is an extraction inside the Nakatani building on Ground Zero. Head to the southern road barricades near Capital Insight, enter the building, and go down to the bottom of the basement stairs. The exit is listed for PMC and Scav with no special requirements, but check your extraction list during the raid to confirm it is available.
Where is Nakatani Basement Stairs?
The extraction is inside the Nakatani building on Ground Zero. Tarkov.help’s route description places the building in the southern area, near the road barricades, with Capital Insight as a landmark. From the main road, use those landmarks to find the building, then enter and descend to the basement. Tarkov.help’s Ground Zero guide provides that area-level direction; its exact turn-by-turn route is not independently confirmed here.
Player discussion offers a more specific visual cue: from the Nakatani lobby, pass the elevators and take the stairs down. Treat that as community guidance rather than an authoritative map instruction. Reddit discussion
Who can use it, and is it available every raid?
TarkovFlip’s Ground Zero map lists Nakatani Basement Stairs for both PMC and Scav and states that there are no special requirements. It also advises checking whether the extraction is listed for the current raid. Do not assume it will be available every time: the precise spawn-side and raid-availability rules are not established by the available map information.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you use it for the Unanswered Calls quest?
According to TarkovHead’s Unanswered Calls guide, after placing Therapist’s letter behind the second-floor reception desk in the TerraGroup main building, you can complete the quest by extracting in the same raid through either Emercom Checkpoint or Nakatani Basement Stairs. Choose based on which exit appears in your raid and where you are after completing the letter objective; the guide does not compare their danger or travel time.
