Escape from Tarkov 1.0 released on November 15, 2025. The date first appeared as “15.11.2025” in a live-action trailer, but it was later confirmed by Battlestate Games studio head Nikita Buyanov and announced on Steam. The old “might be soon” framing is now outdated: the date has passed.
When did Escape from Tarkov 1.0 release?
Version 1.0 was scheduled for November 15, 2025. In an October 15, 2025 announcement, Steam told players to “Mark your calendars for November 15” (Steam announcement). GamesRadar reported that Buyanov confirmed the same date in a Bluesky post: “15.11.2025 1.0 release. Let’s gooooooo!” (GamesRadar).
Contemporaneous launch-period coverage described the game as available through Steam and the Battlestate Games client. Steam also has a current store listing for the game, downloadable content, and PC system requirements; listings and requirements can change (Steam store page).
What was the code in the release trailer?
The live-action trailer repeatedly displayed the date 15.11.2025, which GamesRadar reported as the release clue. On its own, a date in a trailer was a teaser, not definitive confirmation. Buyanov’s post and the subsequent Steam announcement made the November 15 date explicit.

Was November 15 only a release-date announcement?
No. The announcement identified the milestone as version 1.0. PC Gamer reported on August 22, 2025 that Battlestate had scheduled 1.0 for November 15 and quoted the studio thanking players for their participation throughout testing. The article also reported that the beta had received more than 400 updates—a figure reported at that time, not a current update count (PC Gamer’s 2025 report).

Launch-period guidance named both Steam and Battlestate’s client as access routes. It also said Steam integrations required a separate Steam purchase. That is historical launch guidance, not a guarantee of current account linking, ownership transfer, or entitlement terms. Check the current store and official account information before buying or assuming an existing copy carries over (PC Gamer’s launch guide).
