The Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops campaign for the launch of Season One, Kord Breach, has ended. Battlestate Games scheduled the global event for August 5–17, 2026; players can no longer earn rewards from this campaign.
When did the Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops campaign run?
Battlestate Games announced the event on August 4, 2026. Drops began August 5 at 2:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM EDT and ended August 17 at the same time. The campaign celebrated the launch of Escape from Tarkov’s first season, Kord Breach. Battlestate Games’ announcement on Steam gives the schedule.
What rewards were available?
Viewers could earn in-game reward containers in three tiers: Common, Rare and Epic. To qualify, they watched streams in the Escape from Tarkov category on Twitch. The announcement did not specify what each container contained, the viewing time required to earn one, or any per-viewer reward limit.
What did players need to participate?
- A Twitch account and an active copy of Escape from Tarkov.
- A Twitch account linked to the player’s game profile. Streamers also needed to link accounts to distribute Drops.
- To claim and use the containers on an eligible character during the campaign.
The announcement initially said containers were available only to seasonal characters. In a later post about the campaign’s final stretch, Battlestate Games said containers had become available in Seasonal, PvP and PvE modes. The post repeated the August 17 end time and account-linking requirement, but did not say exactly when the mode availability changed. The official Escape from Tarkov Telegram post describes that later update.
