How a Brainrot run works
The aim is to collect Brainrots without getting caught by the tsunami. A fan-made beginner guide says you carry a collected Brainrot back to base to secure it, and that Brainrots placed there generate income. It also reports that a wave hit sends the player back to spawn and can cost them the Brainrot they were carrying. These are guide-reported mechanics, not details confirmed by the developer, so watch what happens in your current session. Read the fan-made beginner guide.
- Start from your base and note the route to the Brainrot you want.
- Look for a safe place along the route, such as a pit or raised platform; the fan guide describes these as places to shelter from a wave.
- Collect a Brainrot only when you have a workable path back.
- Return to base and secure it before setting out again.
Use safe spots and plan the return
Do not plan only the outward trip. Before leaving base, identify where you might shelter and how you will continue back afterward. Pits and elevated platforms are suggested by the fan guide, but the map and wave behavior can change; treat a spot as safe only after observing it in the current experience.

Distance matters because a farther Brainrot leaves you with more ground to cover while carrying it. Prefer a short, familiar trip when you are learning the map. A longer run makes more sense when you know the route and can reach a shelter or base before the wave catches you.
Choose a run by risk, not greed
The fan guide recommends learning safe positions, planning both halves of the route, and favoring smaller carries over an overloaded run. Use those as practical cautions rather than guaranteed optimal tactics: the value of a Brainrot, carrying limits, and map layout may differ in the current version.

- Take a safer trip when you do not know the route, have no clear shelter, or would lose a valuable carried Brainrot if caught.
- Consider a longer trip when you know the return path and have identified a place to shelter or a way back to base.
- Reset your plan after reaching safety: check your position and the next route rather than assuming the same timing or shelter will work again.
What to upgrade first
The official listing advertises upgrades for Brainrots and base slots, plus Spawn Machines and Lucky Blocks. It does not specify upgrade prices, effects, or a recommended order. The fan guide recommends prioritizing speed, but that is unofficial advice and should not be treated as a confirmed best build. Check the current upgrade descriptions in-game and choose an option that helps with the runs you are actually attempting.

Do not rely on old guides for exact controls, wave intervals, color-coded wave types, safe-spot locations, carrying capacity, Robux offers, or zone speed requirements. The official listing does not confirm those particulars, and they may change with updates. Use the live experience for current values and requirements; use fan advice as a starting point for observation, not a guarantee.
