Num 7 and Num 8 affect device behavior in different ways: one extends an effect’s duration and the other removes its cooldown. Keeping those distinctions in mind helps avoid expecting a duration toggle to make a device immediately reusable, or a cooldown toggle to make an existing effect last forever.

Combat damage
Num 9 is the shield-specific attack option, and Num 0 is the broader one-hit kill label. The source does not promise universal results against every target, so treat the names as the documented intent rather than a guarantee for bosses, scripted sequences, or unusual defenses.
Economy and crafting
Ctrl+Num 1 and Ctrl+Num 6 are not interchangeable. Infinite Money is described as taking effect when money is gained; Money Multiplier changes the amount gained. Ctrl+Num 2 concerns resources, while Ctrl+Num 3 removes crafting requirements. The crafting toggle has the only explicit crash warning on the page and therefore deserves special handling around merchants.
Travel control
Force Jump is unusual because it changes movement rules rather than inventory or combat values. FLiNG says the player is automatically moved to the next location upon taking damage, including in locations that suppress jumping. That can bypass a travel restriction, but it can also move the ship before you have finished collecting items or interacting with a location, so it should be enabled deliberately.

Version and storefront compatibility
The strongest compatibility statement available is the page’s own range: 64-bit Everspace versions v1.0–v1.3.5+, with the trainer page updated on September 15, 2020. “Plus” does not identify a tested upper limit, and the date is old enough that a modern executable, platform build, or distribution update may differ internally.
Storefront identity can matter even when two installations show similar version numbers. One comment on the page reports that the trainer did not work with GOG version 1.3.5.36556. - Identify your build first. Write down the game version, 64-bit status, and storefront. This gives you a reference if the trainer fails or changes behavior.
- Obtain the archive from the documented page. The listing identifies a 642 KB ZIP dated September 15, 2020. Verify that the file you receive matches the page’s basic description before opening it.
- Scan and isolate the test. Antivirus comments on the page are conflicting user reports, not a safety verdict. Use your security software’s normal scanning and quarantine procedures, and do not weaken protection merely to force a launch.

Known failure modes and what they mean
The game launches but a toggle does nothing
The most defensible first suspicion is a build mismatch. Recheck the exact executable version, architecture, and storefront. The page’s 2020 update does not certify later releases, and the GOG 1.3.5.36556 comment shows that even a similar-looking version number may not behave identically.
The game crashes near a merchant
FLiNG specifically connects this risk to No Crafting Requirement when entering a new location containing merchants. Disable Ctrl+Num 3 before making that transition. The page states that progress will not be lost, but you should still reload from a recent save if the game becomes unstable.
An antivirus product flags the archive
The page contains user comments about detections, an author reply referring one commenter to Norton’s false-positive submission process, and a later comment saying the detection was cleared. None of that independently establishes whether the file is safe or malicious. Keep your security software active, inspect the alert details, and do not treat a cleared detection as a universal guarantee.

Force Jump moves you unexpectedly
That behavior is the documented purpose of Ctrl+Num 5: FLiNG says damage automatically sends the player to the next location, even where jumping is suppressed. Turn it off when you need to remain in the current area for exploration, trading, or collection.
