This guide follows that record in order. Warzone has separate patch notes and is not folded into the Black Ops 6 changes below.
These are historical patch notes, not a statement of the live gameplay rules in 2026. The December 3 announcement previewed the Reloaded release; the dated entries on the official patch-notes page record what was added or changed afterward.

December 4, 2024: the Reloaded content update
The main mid-season entry introduced new content alongside balance adjustments, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes. Its additions and fixes span Multiplayer, Zombies, and general stability.

Multiplayer maps and mode changes
- Hacienda: added as a 6v6 map.
- Racket: added for 2v2 and 6v6.
- Nuketown Holiday: added as a 6v6 map.
- Lowtown: an out-of-bounds issue was fixed.
- Protocol: the Search & Destroy A bombsite was adjusted.
- CDL modes: Hardpoint markers and dynamic map elements received changes.
- Ransack: XP earn rates were adjusted to align with other modes.
The entry also records stability fixes.
Zombies fixes
- Fixed a reloading issue while Tactical Sprinting.
- Fixed issues affecting Kazimir equipment and loadouts.
- Fixed a prompt issue in the GobbleGum menu.
- Addressed a performance issue involving the Time of Death charm after 1,000 kills.
A separate developer note said a movement slowdown when reloading during a sprint was still under investigation at that time. That describes the status on December 4, not the issue’s present-day status.
December 5–6, 2024: Ranked Play, interface, playlists, and stability

The page lists fixes for Ranked Play SR Loss Forgiveness, Best Play performance and its user interface, and the After Action Report scoreboard.

December 6
Multiplayer blueprint attachment issues were fixed. Playlist changes added Hideout to Control and Nuketown Holiday to 10v10 playlists. The Training Course received a routing fix, and stability fixes were recorded for Multiplayer and Zombies.
December 9–10, 2024: additional notes and weapon motion
December 9
The official page includes a separate December 9 update with additional details. It is part of the Reloaded update record rather than the December 4 launch entry.

December 10: reductions to weapon motion
Treyarch said it had “taken a comprehensive pass on weapon motion and applied reductions across the board to improve the combat experience.” The patch note set reduction targets from 30% to 75%, depending on weapon class and weapon; these were developer-published targets, not independently measured player outcomes.
The listed adjustments covered visual recoil, turn sway, selected gun-kick and idle-sway values, aiming movement while walking or changing stance, and hip-fire deviation. The note also set Aiming Idle Sway Delay to 2.2 seconds across weapons. Sniper rifles received a complete idle-sway reduction during that delay; using Target Laser changed the listed delay to 2.9 seconds. These figures describe the historical December 10 settings.

December 11–12, 2024: event rewards, playlists, and XP
December 11: The Hit List rewards
Qualifying participants who had not claimed The Hit List community rewards before the event ended were granted them retroactively. The listed rewards were:
- Buffer Weight Stock
- Shadow Multiplayer Perk
- Hand Cannon Scorestreak
- Veteran Warzone Perk
- Sirin 9mm weapon
December 12: playlists and progression
The update added Ran-Snack and Infectious Holiday to featured playlists, changed how limited-time modes count toward Ranked Play wins, and added maps to 10v10 playlists. It also raised XP or Weapon XP rates in named modes. The same entry records fixes for Citadelle des Morts and for the Merry Mayhem reward-progress interface.
January 9, 2025: later Operator skin fix
The latest dated entry in the official notes reviewed here fixes an issue that made Maya’s “Joyride” Operator Skin invisible past 70 meters. This was a later follow-up fix, not content that launched with the December 4 update.
Where Warzone fits
The Black Ops 6 notes direct Warzone players to separate Raven Software patch notes. Warzone-related details should therefore be checked in that separate update stream rather than treated as part of the Black Ops 6 list above. The December 3 announcement covers both games, but it does not make their patch-note records interchangeable.
