For the highest reported Friendship reward, choose a Hangout activity the hero loves: PC Gamer’s guide says loved activities earn +7, liked activities +5, and disliked activities +0. The preference list below is a useful secondary reference, not an official in-game export; its base-roster guide was last updated December 11, 2022, and describes the list as non-exhaustive. How Hangout rewards work
PC Gamer reports +7 Friendship for a loved activity, +5 for a liked activity, and no activity bonus (+0) for a disliked one. Preferences differ by hero, so an activity that works well with one character may be a poor pick for another. These are the guide’s reported mechanics rather than a first-party published preference export. PC Gamer
Friendship can also grow through conversations, favorite gifts, and compliments. Firaxis creative director Jake Solomon explains that individual friendships contribute to Team Friendship and its unlockable benefits. PlayStation Blog’s Friendship advice

Deadpool’s “like” entry is disputed
The PC Gamer table lists Exploring the Grounds as a like for Deadpool, but Lead Designer Joe Weinhoffer of Firaxis said Deadpool has no like-tier Hangouts: “Just know that, because of his unstable and unpredictable nature, Deadpool doesn’t merely ‘like’ any hangout activities; he either ‘loves’ or ‘dislikes’ any way that you spend time together!” The developer statement conflicts with the guide’s row, so treat that like entry as unsettled rather than a reliable middle-tier choice. Weinhoffer’s statement on PlayStation Blog
Hangouts and Havens are different
A Hangout is an evening activity you choose with a hero. A Haven is a special Abbey-area location linked to an activity. Each Haven location can be used once, and each hero can be invited to a Haven only once, so choose the hero and activity deliberately. PC Gamer says Haven conversation choices can grant up to +4 and recommends matching the Haven activity to one that hero loves. PC Gamer’s Hangout and Haven guide

Storm’s complete loved/liked/disliked list is not established by the available reference: a community activity page describes an observed “Like” for Exploring the Grounds as incomplete and possibly a bug. Don’t infer a full preference list from that partial observation. Storm community activity page
