Grace’s charms work while carried in her inventory; Leon’s must be equipped to a weapon. There is no official Capcom ranking, so the order below is an editorial priority guide based on each charm’s usefulness, restrictions, drawbacks, and effort to obtain.

The order is a practical editorial ranking, not a measured damage tier list. It favors useful benefits with fewer restrictions, while accounting for penalties and unlock effort. Vandal’s updated base-game guide, published August 10, 2026, documents these effects and routes: Resident Evil Requiem charm locations and effects.

Grace charms: keep them in your inventory
Grace does not equip these charms to weapons. Their effects activate simply by keeping them in her inventory, so each is useful without taking up an equipment slot.
1. Bittersweet Watch Charm
This is the strongest all-around Grace pick in this ranking because it improves both the power and durability of her knife. To reach it, defeat the Cook in the Patient Center, take the Pantry Key, and use it to open the Pantry.

2. Spy Eye Charm
The Spy Eye improves Grace’s chance of surviving lethal damage, making it the most directly defensive choice. Defeat the Chunk in the Patient Center to obtain it.
6. Tough Rookie Charm
The Tough Rookie increases Grace’s firepower, but it must be redeemed with points in Special Content. The updated guide does not give the cost, so check the in-game menu before spending points on it.
Leon charms: match the charm to the weapon
Leon must equip charms to weapons. A charm’s value therefore depends on what he carries: a rifle-specific bonus will not help a shotgun, and a weapon restriction can make a generally strong effect irrelevant to a particular loadout.

3. Connoisseur Charm
Connoisseur increases firepower without a weapon restriction listed in the updated guide, giving it broad potential among Leon’s charms. Find it inside the Pantry cabinet.
4. Loyal Partner Charm
Loyal Partner increases bullet penetration, but only for handguns. Its unlock requires defeating 300 enemies and then claiming it in Special Content; that requirement makes it less immediately available than a found charm.
5. Unbridled Ambition Charm
This charm is restricted to Requiem. It gives the weapon unlimited penetration and increases the firepower of the final bullet in its cylinder. Find the briefcase in the first-floor office northwest of the Library and enter the code RRR.

7. BSAA Emblem Charm
The BSAA Emblem increases firepower for rifles only, and its bonus applies only when no scope is equipped. That condition makes it a loadout-specific pick. Look for it in BSAA container 04.
8. S.T.A.R.S. Emblem Charm
This emblem increases firepower for automatic weapons, but the added aim sway is a meaningful trade-off. Get the Locker Key from the Operations Room and use it on the locker against the west wall of the West Office.

9. Teddy Bear Charm
The Teddy Bear raises shotgun firepower at medium range while reducing it at close range. It is the most situational Leon charm in this ranking because its benefit depends on maintaining distance. After exiting through the northeastern hole, search beside the driver’s door of the crashed van in the garage.

Bonus charms and the Letters from 1998 reward
The nine charms above are the base-game checklist. Separately, Capcom’s Xbox Store listing for the Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Kit names two bonus charms: Mr. Raccoon Charm and DSO Emblem Charm. The listing says bonus charms are sent to inventory or item/supply boxes. It also says finding a certain Raccoon City file unlocks Letters from 1998; reading all of those files to the end grants a special charm, but the listing does not identify its name or effect.
The Deluxe Kit requires the game. Its availability and price are specific to the store and platform, so check the listing for current details.
What to check before progressing
Some charm locations can become inaccessible after story points of no return. Shacknews’ February 26, 2026 guide warns players to search optional rooms before moving the story forward: Shacknews’ Resident Evil Requiem charm-location guide. If a charm is tied to an optional area, collect it before advancing past a point of no return rather than assuming you can backtrack later.

Already collected charms are available from the item box on later playthroughs for Grace, and from Leon’s Supply Box for zero credits, according to Vandal’s updated guide. That makes repeat runs less dependent on finding every charm again.
How to choose the best charm for your run
- For Grace: Bittersweet Watch is the strongest broad utility pick in this ranking; choose Spy Eye when surviving a lethal hit matters more.
- For Leon: prioritize Connoisseur for its broadly described firepower increase, then use weapon-specific charms only when your loadout meets their conditions.
- Check penalties and conditions: S.T.A.R.S. adds aim sway, Teddy Bear weakens close-range shotgun damage, BSAA requires an unscoped rifle, and Loyal Partner works only with handguns.
- Consider unlock timing: found charms require reaching their locations, while Tough Rookie costs points and Loyal Partner requires 300 defeated enemies.
These priorities follow the published effects and acquisition routes, not comparative combat testing. GameSpot and Shacknews also published location guides on February 26, 2026, but Vandal’s August 10, 2026 guide is the fuller base-game inventory: GameSpot’s charm-location guide.
