There is no single ranked favorite for most heroes: the available preference guide lists several loved activities per character, and Haven names are randomly assigned. The activity—not the Haven’s name—is the useful match.
Haven activity matches for each hero
The activities below are the original-roster preferences labeled “Loves” in PC Gamer’s guide, updated December 11, 2022. The Haven guide says these same activity preferences apply when choosing a Haven. They are multiple loved options, not a ranking of one best activity. Heroes without a standard Haven pairing here
- Hulk: The guide lists birdwatching and mushroom picking as loved activities, but also says Hulk has no friendship level. Since Haven visits are used for friendship, those preferences are not a standard Haven recommendation.
- Storm and Morbius: The cited guides do not establish dependable, complete loved-activity lists for these later characters, so a specific match cannot be confirmed from them.
How Haven activity preferences affect friendship
Use the activity icon or description to identify what the Haven offers; its name can be random. For example, the guides associate birdwatching with a bird icon, fishing with a fish, painting with a paintbrush, mushroom foraging with a mushroom, picnics with a basket, and meditation with a flower.
PC Gamer’s guide reports +7 friendship for a loved activity, +5 for a liked activity, and no extra activity points for a disliked activity. A Haven visit also includes dialogue: the guide reports that the best response can add up to +4 friendship. Each Haven and each hero can be used for one Haven visit, so choose the pairing and visit accordingly. These are gameplay-guide-reported mechanics, not results from a separately attributed study.

Havens are only one way to build friendship
Haven visits are distinct from ordinary Hangouts. Friendship also comes from dialogue choices, gifts, and compliments. Firaxis creative director Jake Solomon described these avenues on the PlayStation Blog: “You earn Friendship through several activities – picking the appropriate dialogue when talking to heroes, hanging out with them, giving them their favorite gifts and even complimenting them.”
