The available Mage Arena Wiki recipe list gives 15 standard two-ingredient crafts, plus Excalibur, a special craft made from two Mausoleum parts. Ingredients can be used in either order. Because the indexed wiki page does not identify the game build it represents, treat the list below as the available reference—not a guarantee of completeness for the live October 2026 version.
Standard Mage Arena crafting recipes
These recipes use Crystal, Log, Toad, Mushroom, and Rock. The Mage Arena Wiki’s indexed Magic Items page lists the combinations and describes their effects; ingredient order does not matter.

| Ingredients | Craft | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Mushroom + Rock | Boinger | A melee-like knockback item that can also launch its wielder from a surface. The wiki says it deals no damage. |
| Mushroom + Crystal | Ray of Shrink | Temporarily shrinks a nearby targeted player for 40 seconds, reducing their hitbox. |
| Crystal + Crystal | The Orb | Lets you view through a camera that follows a targeted enemy player. |
| Mushroom + Mushroom | Mushroom Man | Summons a following, damage-immune minor NPC that serves as a portable bounce mushroom. |
| Crystal + Log | Levitator | Emits a beam that drags a nearby player through the air; it can also be aimed at your own feet. |
| Toad + Mushroom | Spore Frog | Creates a blue cloud that covers players inside it, useful for escaping. |
| Toad + Log | Frog Stick | A melee hit forces the target to drop their held item. The wiki says it deals no damage. |
| Crystal + Rock | Golem | Summons a following, damage-immune NPC that defends its owner with crystals dealing 20 damage each. |
| Rock + Rock | Thrumming Stone | Creates a shockwave that dispels spells other than Wormhole. It does not prevent Fireball’s aftermath explosion. |
| Toad + Rock | Frogleather Blade | A melee weapon that deals 30 damage and has no secondary effect. |
| Log + Log | Walking Stick | While held, sets base movement speed to 5.5 and base running speed to 11. |
| Rock + Log | Silverseed Bramble | Creates thorn patches that deal about 170 damage per second to players standing on them. You can have up to three patches, and each lasts 60 seconds. |
| Toad + Toad | Frog Balloon | Lowers gravity while held, allowing safer falls and higher jumps. |
| Toad + Crystal | Dart Frog | Fires magical darts. Each shot deals 15 damage; a hit reverses the target’s movement controls for 15 seconds. Reload time is one second. |
| Mushroom + Log | Fungal Walking Stick | Works like the Walking Stick and also increases jump height. |
Special craft: Excalibur
Excalibur is assembled at a crafting table from the Excalibur hilt and broken Excalibur blade. The Mage Arena Wiki says both parts are embedded in large stones on opposite sides of the Mausoleum, and each takes 10 seconds to pull free. The completed sword deals 105 damage and is not dropped on death. The wiki recommends exploring with a teammate because retrieving both parts alone is difficult.
Where to find crafting materials
The five standard ingredients are Crystal, Log, Toad, Mushroom, and Rock. The wiki says each team starts a match with a chest containing six random crafting materials. Capturing a biome prompts goblins to deliver its associated material to the portcullis:

How to craft at your base
Game8’s crafting guide, last updated August 11, 2025, identifies the tree trunk inside the team base as the crafting table and describes this interaction:
Rank #2
- Package weight :2.319 kg
- Package height :6.2 cm
- Package length :31.6 cm
- Package width :34.8 cm
- Select the two ingredient slots in your inventory.
- Hover over the tree trunk crafting table. When the prompt appears, press E to place the ingredients.
- Press E again to pick up the crafted item.
Game8 says the in-game recipe display can serve as a reference for almost all items. Excalibur is treated as a special craft outside the ordinary recipe list in its guide, though it still uses the crafting table.
Which recipe should you make?
Choose based on the job you need the craft to do and the materials your team has available. The wiki’s equipment categories and item descriptions point to several practical roles:
Recommended Free Tools
Rank #3
- 216 Spell Cards, 2 Custom Spellbooks, 2 Mage Cards, 2 Mage Ability Cards, Die-cut markers, Rules
- Not a standalone game
- Adds depth and complexity to the base game
- 2-player game
- Mobility: Boinger, Walking Stick, Fungal Walking Stick, and Frog Balloon help with launching, movement speed, jumping, or falling.
- Damage: Frogleather Blade, Dart Frog, Silverseed Bramble, and Golem offer direct or area damage; their listed effects and values are in the recipe table.
- Disruption: Frog Stick can make an enemy drop a held item, Ray of Shrink reduces a target’s hitbox, and Thrumming Stone dispels most spells.
- Scouting: The Orb follows a targeted enemy through its camera.
- Summoning and escape: Mushroom Man and Golem follow their owner, while Spore Frog’s cloud can help cover an escape.
Soups are a separate system
Soups are not additional two-item crafting-table recipes. The Mage Arena Wiki’s Soup page describes five ingredient-to-soup effects made by giving ingredients to the Soup Man. They use a different interaction from combining two materials at the base table.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How current is this recipe list?
The Mage Arena Wiki identifies itself as the official wiki, and its indexed Magic Items page claims to list every craftable item and its ingredients. The indexed capture does not provide a revision date or identify the game build, and the page itself could not be directly retrieved. Steam describes Mage Arena as an Early Access game, so recipes may change; check the in-game crafting table or a dated official wiki revision if you need confirmation for a particular patch.
