Spoiler warning: This guide reveals MiSide’s major ending choices and outcomes. There are three routes described by fan guides: refuse to stay and finish the story for the cartridge reveal, remove the cartridge from the basement safe for a separate ending, or meet a reported checklist of optional conditions before choosing to stay with Mita.

These labels come from fan guides and are inconsistent, so the actions and outcomes are more dependable identifiers than the names. The routes are summarized by the MiSide Wiki’s Campaign page, the MiSide Wiki’s Endings page, and the fan-made MiSide.games endings guide; the latter says it is unaffiliated with AIHASTO or IndieArk.
How to get the cartridge ending
- When Mita asks you to stay, choose to leave or refuse.
- Continue through the campaign instead of treating the choice itself as the ending.
- Complete the story to reach the cartridge reveal.
One guide calls this the Bad Ending and another calls it the True Ending. “Cartridge ending” describes the actual route without implying that either fan-guide label is official.
How to get the basement safe ending
- Find the safe in the basement during the campaign.
- Enter the code 4970.
- Remove the cartridge or device from inside the safe to trigger the route.
Fan guides say the safe can be accessed during campaign chapters, but their chapter-specific access details are not established here. They variously call the result the Safe Ending, Game Over Ending, or Safe of Life.

How to unlock the stay / Peaceful ending
Fan guides associate the stay route with optional actions accumulated before the Stay choice. Their checklists differ: one includes trying Mita’s sauce, while another omits it. To follow the fuller reported checklist, do these things before choosing Stay:
- Complete the main story once.
- Play a game on the console.
- Try Mita’s sauce.
- Do not inspect the vent.
- Collect the fallen refrigerator magnets.
- Do not look in the oven during the Prologue.
After those actions, choose Stay when Mita offers the choice. The guides describe the outcome as remaining with Mita, but call it Peaceful, Good, or True depending on the source. The checklist is fan-guide guidance, not a developer-confirmed condition list, and no source here establishes whether a recent game update changed it.

Which ending name should you use?
There is no consistent naming scheme across the fan guides. Some assign “True Ending” to the cartridge route, while another uses it for the stay route; “Good Ending” is also applied inconsistently. For a walkthrough or save note, use the route descriptions—cartridge, safe, and stay / Peaceful—rather than treating any alternate label as an official title.
