Schedule I’s April 3, 2025 Patch #6 added an alternate game build for crash troubleshooting and a cleartrash command for performance drops associated with accumulated trash. It also raised the number of stations a Chemist can be assigned from three to four and listed several bug fixes. The Steam event identifies the release as version 0.3.3f15.

What was added in Patch #6?

Tyler’s patch notes introduce the April 3 update as the sixth post-launch patch. The two additions called out in the notes are an alternate version of the game and the cleartrash command. The patch also changes Chemist assignments and addresses specific bugs.

Alternate version: Mono instead of IL2CPP

The alternate build is otherwise identical to the normal game, but uses Mono as its scripting backend instead of IL2CPP. According to the patch notes reproduced by SteamDB, Mono is less performant, but generally handles errors better and is less prone to crashing.

The developer recommends trying this build if the default version crashes consistently. It is a troubleshooting option, not a guaranteed fix: the notes do not promise that it will resolve a particular crash. If crashes continue, the alternate build was also intended to provide more information in bug reports.

cleartrash command

The command was added for players experiencing performance drops because of large amounts of trash in the game. The notes do not state a specific way to enter or invoke the command, nor do they report a measured performance improvement. They establish its intended use, not a guaranteed result.

How did the Chemist station limit change?

Chemists can now be assigned up to four stations, up from three. This is the patch’s production-capacity adjustment; the notes do not specify any other changes to Chemist behavior.

How does April 3 Patch #6 differ from April 1 Patch #5?

Schedule I received a separate patch on April 1, two days before Patch #6. Patch #5 included an active-display selector, automatic movement of product from supplies to drying racks by botanists, owned vehicles appearing in the map app, NPC pathfinding validity checks, smarter employee item movement, and distance-based culling of NPC effects. Its notes also list fixes, including multiplayer, casino, and pathfinding issues. The developer said work had begun on the first content update and was planned for later that weekend; that statement was in the April 1 notes, not an announcement that Patch #6 was the first content update.

The April 3 event listing gives Patch #6’s title as “Post-launch Patch #6 + Alternate Version” and identifies version 0.3.3f15. See the Steam event listing for the date and version. The April 1 notes are reproduced separately by SteamDB.
