A separate Ranked Battles announcement connects Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, and Mega Blaziken to the DLC adventure as well.

Online requirements for Ranked Battles rewards
Online Ranked Battles require internet access, a Nintendo Account, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Availability varies by country. These conditions apply to the documented Ranked Battles rewards, not automatically to every form on the list; the official pages reviewed do not explain an acquisition method for every Mega Pokémon.
What Mega Evolution means in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The official overview describes Mega Evolution as temporarily unleashing a Pokémon’s hidden energy. A Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with a Mega Stone held by the Pokémon. The change affects appearance and, for some Pokémon, may also change type. Read The Pokémon Company International’s Mega Evolution overview.

What the official pages do—and do not—establish
The confirmed names, selected lore, DLC context, and specific stone-reward routes are documented by official Pokémon pages. Those pages do not establish side-by-side battle stats for all 13 forms, so they do not support a reliable strength ranking or a complete acquisition guide for every Pokémon.
One piece of Mega Zeraora lore is unusually specific: The Pokémon Company says, “The electric energy it stores in its body is equivalent to 10 bolts of lightning.” This is fictional Pokémon-world flavor text, not a real-world scientific measurement. Official Mega Zeraora profile.
