More than 50 games had PS5 Pro enhancements available when the console launched on November 7, 2024, according to Sony. The titles below are Sony’s published launch sample—not a claim that the list is exhaustive or a current catalog. Sony says the PS5 Pro Enhanced label identifies selected games with enhancements, but the features vary by game.
Sony’s published PS5 Pro launch sample
Sony’s November 4, 2024 announcement described its list as a “sample of more than 50 games.” These are the titles it named as having PS5 Pro enhancements available at launch:

Sony’s launch announcement also said enhancements for Arma Reforger and The Callisto Protocol were scheduled to arrive after November 7, so those were not part of the launch-day sample.
What “PS5 Pro Enhanced” means
The label marks selected PS5 games with PS5 Pro enhancements; it does not promise one standard upgrade across the lineup. Sony says features vary by game. The console’s capabilities include an upgraded GPU, advanced ray tracing and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), with 60Hz or 120Hz frame-rate possibilities depending on the game and display. A title may use some of these capabilities, but the label alone does not establish which ones it uses or guarantee a particular resolution or frame rate. Examples of game-specific enhancements
Developers have described different approaches for individual games. These are their own statements about their games, not independent benchmark results:
- No Man’s Sky: Hello Games said the PS5 Pro version uses PSSR to upscale to 4K at 60fps. Hello Games’ November 7, 2024 announcement gives the developer’s description.
- The Last of Us Part I and The Last of Us Part II Remastered: Naughty Dog lead programmer Vincent Marxen said each would offer a PS5 Pro-specific rendering mode at 1440p, upscaled to 4K with PSSR, targeting 60fps.
- Stellar Blade: Shift Up CTO and technical director Dongki Lee said the game could run at 4K at 50fps or more in PSSR upscale mode. He also described an 80fps high-frame-rate option that requires a 120Hz display.
The latter two sets of details were published in Sony’s September 24, 2024 developer feature. They illustrate why it is useful to check the details for a particular game: resolution, upscaling, frame-rate targets and display requirements are title-specific.
