Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThere are 100 purple coins in Super Mario Odyssey’s Sand Kingdom, and you can collect all of them on your first visit. This route groups them into 26 clusters and tracks the running total so you can spot a missed group. It assumes you have completed the main story objectives and melted the kingdom’s ice; the four coins in Tostarena’s fountain become available after the story quest.
The game calls these collectibles Regional Coins. They are kingdom-specific currency for local Crazy Cap outfits and souvenirs, and some shop items require coins from the kingdom where they are sold. Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey page describes the game’s kingdom exploration; the route below follows the Sand Kingdom walkthrough.

Where are all the purple coins in the Sand Kingdom?
Follow the clusters in order and compare each cumulative count with your total. The directions use landmarks and checkpoints rather than map coordinates. Unless noted, each group is available on the route described after the main objectives and the thaw.

- Eastern Tostarena Town inlet: Go around the town’s eastern side to the inlet between the buildings for 3. 5/100.

- Ruins north of town: Clear the cactus from the ledge and collect 3. 32/100.
- Tostarena Ruins 8-bit section: Find 3 in the 8-bit section after the Sand Pillar checkpoint. 35/100.

- Elevator platforms: Between Round Tower and Moe-Eye Habitat, take the leftmost elevator platform for 3. 49/100.
- Moe-Eye Habitat poison lake: From the north end, cross the invisible bridge and collect 3 above the lake. 52/100.

- Underground Temple first platform: Reach the far right end of the platform for 3. 77/100.

- Poison-lake sand islands: Take a Jaxi to the islands east of town and collect 4. 85/100.
- Building in the poison lake: Enter the building in the middle of the lake. Collect 6 along the hard paths and 2 east of the central area, for 8 total. 93/100.
- Desert Oasis: Collect 4 at its base. 97/100.
- Southwest map ledge: Hang from the edge and scoot along it to reach the final 3. 100/100.
How to use the running total
After each cluster, compare your count with the bold total. If your number is lower, resume at the next unchecked landmark rather than repeating the route. The route’s less obvious detours are the rocket trip to Strange Neighborhood, the Bullet Bill Maze, the invisible blocks in the Inverted Pyramid mural, and the Goomba-stack jump over the Underground Temple abyss.

What Sand Kingdom purple coins buy
Regional Coins can be spent at Crazy Cap in their own kingdom on local outfits and souvenirs. Sand Kingdom coins are not interchangeable with coins from other kingdoms, and some shop items require Regional Coins from the kingdom where that shop is located. Nintendo’s game page provides the official context for exploring the kingdoms; the 100-coin total and route clusters are documented in game guides.
