Unique armor in Avowed is reported across Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp, and Galawain’s Tusks. Pieces can come from chests and hidden routes, vendors, quests, or named enemies, so searching containers alone will miss some acquisitions. The available guides do not establish an official complete item count; the locations below are a guide-reported checklist, not a verified inventory of every armor and clothing piece.
How to use this location checklist
This guide focuses on named unique armor and its reported acquisition route. Armor is categorized as light, medium, or heavy, while some catalogs also include clothing such as gloves and boots. That difference in scope is one reason published lists do not agree on a definitive total.
The 2026 regional guide covers all four major regions, but the available source material here gives specific item-and-location examples for only a few entries. Those are listed below; unsupported locations are not filled in with guesses. For the broader regional guide, see Position Is Everything’s Avowed unique-armor location guide. For item categories and additional examples, see VULKK’s armor sets catalog and Destructoid’s unique armor guide.
Dawnshore
Arcanist’s Gambeson
- Reported location: A chest at Yellowband Camp.
- Acquisition: Explore the camp and open the chest; the cited catalogs identify the chest as the source, but do not establish additional access requirements.
Blackwing Armor
- Reported location: Ygwulf’s corpse.
- Acquisition: Defeat the named enemy and loot the body. The location summaries cited here do not provide enough detail to state a precise route or any quest prerequisite.
Arcanist’s Gloves
- Reported location: The Shrine to Woedica.
- Acquisition: VULKK lists the gloves at the shrine. The available description does not specify a more precise container or route.
Emerald Stair
Eothasian Breastplate
- Reported location: A chest at the Infested Camp.
- Acquisition: Search the camp for the chest. The catalog example does not establish further requirements.
Shatterscarp and Galawain’s Tusks
The 2026 regional guide includes both regions in its coverage, but the source material available for this checklist does not provide specific item names and directions for them. Treat them as regions to check in a broader in-game search rather than assuming that the examples above represent their full inventories.

Other acquisition routes to check
Named armor may be awarded by quests, sold by merchants, or found along hidden routes and in optional dungeons, in addition to chests and enemy drops. Warmage’s Robe is one cataloged vendor example: it is reported as sold by a merchant at Naku Tedek. The cited summary does not assign a region or give a more precise merchant route, so confirm its availability and location in your current game before making a detour.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why there is no definitive total
The consulted guides are secondary sources, and their coverage differs: some discuss armor sets and effects, while others include clothing pieces or organize finds by region. They do not establish an official total or confirm that every listed item is current across game updates. Use the names and reported routes as leads, and distinguish chest armor from clothing-slot pieces when comparing lists.
