Who can you date on Valentine’s Day in Persona 5 Royal?
The February 14 event lets you choose one eligible romantic partner. The Royal guide lists these ten female Confidants: Makoto Niijima, Haru Okumura, Ann Takamaki, Futaba Sakura, Chihaya Mifune, Tae Takemi, Sadayo Kawakami, Ichiko Ohya, Hifumi Togo, and Kasumi Yoshizawa. You must reach max Confidant rank and enter a special relationship with the character; max rank alone does not qualify.

How to get a Valentine’s date
- Reach max rank with a female Confidant you want to romance.
- Choose the special-relationship route with her during her Confidant story. Friendship does not qualify for the romantic February 14 invitation.
- When the invitation arrives, reply if you want to attend. If you have multiple romantic partners, you still choose one for the date.
Royal’s event dialogue differs from the original game, and the Royal guide notes that the affection-raising dialogue choices have been removed. The guide is a community reference rather than an official Atlus explanation of event mechanics.

What happens if you do not choose a romantic partner?
If you have no qualifying romantic Confidant, or you receive an invitation but do not reply, the alternative Valentine’s scene is with Ryuji. Yusuke and Sojiro may also be involved. The romantic partner’s “true love” chocolate fully restores one ally’s SP; Ryuji’s friendship chocolate restores 10 SP to one ally.
What happens on February 15?
Multiple romances or an unanswered invitation
A February 15 confrontation event can occur if you have at least two female Confidants in special relationships, or one romantic Confidant whose invitation you did not answer. Unchosen max-rank romantic Confidants may visit Leblanc. In this scene, the women do not give chocolate; Sojiro gives chocolate that restores 10 SP to one ally.

Friendship chocolates
Friendship chocolates are a separate outcome, not part of the romantic confrontation. Under the good/true-ending route conditions described by the Royal guide, qualifying max-rank female Confidants with whom you stayed friends can give chocolate on February 15. Each restores 100 SP to one ally. These conditions differ from those for the romantic February 14 event.
Does this apply to the original Persona 5?
The roster and event details here are for Persona 5 Royal. Royal’s event guide directs players who have not unlocked the third semester to a separate original-game event page, so do not assume every Royal detail applies to a run of Persona 5.
