YAPYAP’s documented wand roster includes a free starter wand and several shop- or chest-found options for movement, damage, disruption, scouting, and team support. Below is a practical guide to the wands and their reported spells, plus the acquisition details that guides provide. Treat it as a guide-based roster, not a definitive in-game catalogue: sources differ on completeness and on the price of Minor Arcana, and the game may have changed since the latest listed community update.

These prices and routes are guide-reported, not guaranteed current shop listings. Most English guides say standard wands can be bought or found in chests. The Japanese community catalogue, updated July 15, 2026, includes nine wand families, while some English guides list fewer; check the in-game shop and grimoire for the current names, prices, and available spells.

Damage, disruption, and destruction
Grotesque Wand
Achoo makes a target sneeze; Piss-Yuk produces a damaging stream; Fish-Yuk turns targets into fish; and the hidden Dub Piss Yuk produces a double stream. The Japanese catalogue says targets can include players or objects, and describes Achoo’s slime as capable of growing and bursting. It also reports that Piss-Yuk can help with objectives or deal with a slime enemy. Treat these as guide-described effects rather than guaranteed outcomes in every situation. English guides commonly list the wand at 25 Gold or available from a chest. Insider Gaming’s YAPYAP spell guide; Japanese community catalogue.
Wand of Fire
Ignis Tongue creates fire that can be sustained by speaking, Ignis Doom places a proximity mine, and Ignis Legs grants a speed boost. Insider Gaming lists the hidden Ignis Balls, which turns the caster into a propelled fireball. The Japanese guide uses different localized spell names and describes a hidden fire teleport that causes self-damage and shares a cooldown with the speed spell. It also warns that the mine can damage its caster. English guides list the wand at 50 Gold or obtainable from a chest. Insider Gaming’s YAPYAP spells and wands guide; Japanese community catalogue.
Wand of Telekinesis
Teleblast damages and knocks back a target, Telefloat lifts targets in a marked area, and Telelock temporarily locks a door. The hidden Float Nulla makes an object float. Insider Gaming and Destructoid both include this wand and its core spell list; the Japanese catalogue describes similar pushing, floating, and immobilizing effects under localized names. English guides report a price of 50 Gold or chest acquisition. Insider Gaming’s YAPYAP spells and wands guide; Destructoid’s YAPYAP spell list; Japanese community catalogue.
Destructive Wand
The Japanese community catalogue lists a hammer spell called Tonton that destroys objects and can also injure the caster or allies. It reports that the wand can appear as a random item from a barred trader, or as a chest reward associated with a clogged toilet or sink objective. This wand is absent from the English lists cited here, so its inclusion is based on that community catalogue alone. Japanese community catalogue.
Teleportation, vision, and deception
Astral Wand
Blink moves the caster forward, Astral Eyes reveals certain targets through walls, and Swap exchanges positions with a target. The hidden Offer/Trade sequence marks one target and then swaps its position with a selected target. English guides report 35 Gold or chest acquisition; the Japanese catalogue reports shop purchase. Poof Me disguises the caster as a chair, Echo Me sends a clone forward as a decoy, and Poof Anima takes over an object. The Japanese guide adds hidden graffiti and ally-transformation effects. English guides list the wand at 25 Gold or obtainable from chests. Insider Gaming’s YAPYAP spells and wands guide; Japanese community catalogue.

Blessed Wand
Corpus Anima revives a fallen ally, Custodia protects a target, and Lux Vita summons a light that heals nearby players. The hidden Merci spell moves the caster quickly toward an ally and heals them. The Japanese catalogue says revival requires repeated spoken prompts, has a long cooldown, and is multiplayer-only; those details are specific to that guide. English guides report 50 Gold or chest acquisition. Insider Gaming’s YAPYAP spells and wands guide; Japanese community catalogue.

Choosing a wand by role
- Mobility and escape: Winds offers levitation and environmental movement; Minor Arcana and Astral add vertical movement or teleportation.
- Offense and object damage: Fire and Grotesque have damaging effects, while the Japanese catalogue’s Destructive Wand is specifically described as destroying objects.
- Crowd control: Telekinesis focuses on knockback, lifting, and temporarily locking doors; Grotesque adds disruptive transformations.
- Scouting and deception: Astral Eyes offers vision through walls against certain targets, while Illusions provides a controllable scout, disguises, and decoys.
- Team support: Blessed is the documented choice for healing, protection, and revival.
The guides suggest that some utility and deception wands have limited direct destruction capability, so carrying complementary roles may be useful; that is guide-derived advice, not a tested ranking. Since spoken casting is a YAPYAP mechanic, a USB gaming microphone is an optional setup choice, not a requirement or a proven way to improve spell recognition. YAPYAP on Steam.
Names and roster limits
Spell names can vary between localization sources. The names above follow English guides where available, while some extra spell details come from the Japanese community catalogue. The February 2026 Insider Gaming and Destructoid guides provide cross-checks for several spells; a March 2026 GAMES.GG guide lists seven wand families and says it will expand as discoveries are made. The broader Japanese catalogue is community-maintained and was updated July 15, 2026. No official current spell catalogue is established here, so the in-game grimoire and shop remain the best check for exact current names, hidden spell availability, prices, and additions made after that update.
