Challenge and tournaments
Challenge Mode gives solo players a progression route through tournaments. PlayStation’s product page lists more than 100 tournaments in the mode; that is the platform holder’s listed figure, not an independently audited count. Bandai Namco also highlights Challenge Mode as a central way to play.
Solo play and course settings
The official game page describes Solo Mode, while the publisher says the courses take inspiration from 10 countries and regions. Together, the modes and settings offer variety beyond a single round, though the official pages do not establish how quickly every character, course, or piece of gear unlocks.

What does the review say about the experience?
TechRadar’s September 3, 2025 review praised the game’s charm, shotcraft, colorful presentation, and content, describing it as a middle ground between lighter arcade golf and more demanding simulation. The reviewer also reported slow progression and frame-rate dips during ball travel. Those are that reviewer’s observations, not a broad critical consensus or a guarantee of performance on every platform.
TechRadar said its reviewer played for 12 hours on PS5, primarily using a DualSense controller. That context matters: the reported performance issues reflect that reviewer’s PS5 experience, and the available official product information does not provide comparative performance testing for PS5, Switch, and PC.

If you want golf that is easy to pick up but still rewards timing and shot decisions, the three-press swing and range of modes make Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots a compelling fit. It looks less appealing if you expect rapid unlocks or want assurance of consistently smooth performance; the available review flags both progression pace and frame-rate dips as drawbacks.
HYDE developed the game, and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. published it in North America. It became available on September 5, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Because the cited independent review covers PS5, its performance comments should not be treated as a verdict on the other versions.
