The November 20, 2025 Xbox Partner Preview was a 30-minute showcase focused on third-party games, not a general Xbox first-party announcements event. It featured 16 games by Windows Central’s count; Xbox’s recap highlighted five brand-new games, three releases playable that day, and nine games announced for day-one Xbox Game Pass Ultimate availability. Those Game Pass and release details are what Xbox announced at the time, not confirmation of today’s catalog or every title’s current release status.
What was announced at the Xbox Partner Preview?
Xbox described the broadcast as a mix of world premieres, new announcements, downloadable-content reveals, and partner games. The slate ranged from same-day releases to sequels, upcoming projects, and a crossover mission in Hitman: World of Assassination.

Xbox Wire Editor Danielle Partis said of the event: “All of the games featured in today’s show are Xbox Play Anywhere, which means you’ll be able to play across console, PC and supported gaming handhelds with just one copy of the game.” The phrase “today’s show” refers to the November 20, 2025 event; it does not mean every game was released that day.
Which games were available on the event day?
Xbox said three games were playable on November 20, 2025. CloverPit and Total Chaos were also presented as Game Pass releases; the recap did not describe Dave the Diver’s Xbox launch as a Game Pass addition.

Which Xbox Partner Preview games were announced for day-one Game Pass?
Xbox announced nine titles for day-one availability on Game Pass Ultimate. “Day one” describes the plan announced at the showcase; it should not be read as a claim that all nine are currently in the subscription catalog.

- Vampire Crawlers: Poncle’s first-person deckbuilding roguelike dungeon crawler in the Vampire Survivors universe. Xbox announced Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, and day-one Game Pass Ultimate, while saying to watch for release-date news.
What is Xbox Play Anywhere, and is it the same as Game Pass?
No. Xbox Play Anywhere is a cross-device feature for supported games: one copy can be played across supported Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, and gaming handhelds. Windows Central notes that cloud saves sync progress across those platforms. Game Pass, by contrast, is a subscription catalog; a Play Anywhere game is not automatically included with Game Pass.

How to read the event’s release and availability announcements
The showcase is a useful snapshot of what Xbox and its partners announced on November 20, 2025, but it is not a current release tracker. The dates and Game Pass plans above are attributed to the event coverage; the sources do not comprehensively verify present-day release status, regional availability, or the current Game Pass catalog for every title. Check the game’s official store or publisher page for a current release listing before relying on an event-time window.

What did Xbox announce about Windows handhelds?
Xbox said the Windows full-screen experience, then available on ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X, would become generally available across gaming handhelds already on the market on November 21, 2025. It also said additional Windows 11 PC form factors would follow through Xbox and Windows Insider programs. This was a dated rollout announcement, not a current compatibility list.
