At launch, Xbox included it with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. When did Avowed come to Game Pass?
The standard release and Game Pass availability date was February 18, 2025. Xbox announced that day that the game was available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Xbox’s February 18 Game Pass update identified Avowed as a first-person fantasy action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment.
Which Game Pass plans include Avowed now?
The current UK Xbox Store listing reviewed on October 8, 2026, names Premium, PC Game Pass, and Ultimate as subscriptions that include Avowed. That is a snapshot of the UK listing, not a guarantee of availability in every country or a promise that the catalog will remain unchanged. Xbox notes that product features may vary by country and change; check the Xbox Store listing for your market before choosing or changing a plan.
Game license and cloud access are separate
The same UK listing says cloud play is included with Premium and Ultimate. For Essential, it says you must purchase the game to stream it. Confirm both that your plan includes the game and that it supports play on your intended device; a cloud-play option is a separate detail from whether a subscription includes the game itself.

Not through the standard Game Pass release date. The Premium Edition or the separately sold Premium Upgrade Addon offered up to five days of early access before February 18, 2025. The addon was a paid option, not an earlier standard Game Pass launch. Xbox also described the Premium Edition benefits as two premium skin sets and a digital artbook and soundtrack. See Xbox’s February 4 release announcement and its February 7 release-week listing for the launch details.
