Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFAITH: The Unholy Trinity is a three-chapter supernatural horror adventure built around a striking contrast: crude-looking pixels and carefully rotoscoped animation, set against a story of exorcism, cults, and religious paranoia. The available evidence makes it an easy recommendation for players drawn to that style of horror, with one important caveat: its store warning says blood and gore appear throughout both gameplay and cutscenes. Store reviews are strongly positive in captured snapshots, but without first-hand play it is more useful to weigh the game’s documented approach and practical details than to pretend a score settles whether it will suit you.
What is FAITH: The Unholy Trinity?
Developed by Airdorf Games and published by New Blood Interactive, FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is a collection of three chapters. The story follows young priest John Ward after a failed exorcism, as supernatural events escalate and a cult attempts to summon a demon. Players use a crucifix to exorcise possessed cultists and cleanse haunted objects. The full game was released on Steam on October 21, 2022.
Its horror draws on religious and occult imagery associated with the 1980s. Steam describes chunky pixel graphics, hand-made rotoscoped animation, a retro soundtrack, and multiple endings. The visual contrast is central to its appeal: PC Gamer’s roundup highlights bright pixels against black backgrounds and the unsettling effect of the animated sequences. That is a useful description of the design, not a guarantee that every player will find its exploration, puzzles, pacing, or combat compelling.
What do reviews say?
Steam displayed strongly positive user sentiment in the snapshots captured on October 3, 2026, but the figures differ by storefront and should not be treated as a single universal score. The Japanese listing showed 95% positive from 8,099 lifetime reviews; the German listing showed 91% positive from 132 recent reviews. Both figures are regional snapshots and can change over time. Check the current Steam listing for the score shown in your region.

The Steam page also surfaces short critic quotes: IGN called it “A truly eerie horror game”; Eurogamer said it was “Smarter than it looks, deeper than it looks, scarier than it looks”; and PC Gamer praised “continual unnerving surprise.” These blurbs point to the game’s atmosphere and the gap between its simple appearance and horror ambitions, but they are not a substitute for a detailed assessment of how its mechanics and pacing work for you.
How scary is it, and what content should players expect?
The official Steam content note is direct: “Game features blood and gore throughout, in both cutscene and gameplay.” Fangamer’s physical-edition listing also gives descriptors including violence, blood and gore, suggestive themes, language, and drug reference. This is not a content-light pixel adventure; the low-resolution art does not remove the explicit warning about gore.

Prices and bundle contents should be checked on the store page because they can change.

Language support
Language listings may not match across platforms or store pages. A Steam announcement dated September 21, 2026 said Spanish localization with full voice had been added and Brazilian Portuguese was coming soon. The Steam product-page snapshot listed English and Japanese, while Fangamer’s physical listing named English. Check the exact edition’s current language details before purchasing, especially if you need a specific spoken language or subtitle option.
Verdict: is FAITH: The Unholy Trinity worth playing?
It is worth considering if you want a supernatural horror game whose identity comes from a deliberately limited pixel look, rotoscoped animation, and a story steeped in exorcism and cult imagery. The three chapters, multiple endings, and strongly positive—but regional and time-sensitive—Steam snapshots make a persuasive case for its audience. If gore is a deal-breaker, the official warning is decisive; if you need a judgment on jump-scare frequency or moment-to-moment pacing, the available material does not establish that well enough to promise a fit.
