Fallout 4の次世代アップデートは、2024年4月25日に配信された無料アップデートです。PS5・Xbox Series X|S向けのネイティブ版と画質・性能モード、新たなCreation Clubコンテンツ、PC向け機能や各種修正が含まれました。Bethesdaが公表したモード目標値と、その後の2026年の修正は、2024年の配信内容と分けて紹介します。
2024年4月のアップデートで追加されたコンテンツ
Bethesdaによると、アップデートでは無料のCreation Clubコンテンツが9項目追加されました。主な追加内容は、Enclave Remnants、Makeshift Weapon Pack、Halloween Workshopの3グループです。以下の収録数はBethesda Game Studiosが2024年に公表したもので、独立した調査による数値ではありません。Bethesdaの配信内容とパッチノートで詳細を確認できます。

Enclave Remnantsに関係する他のEnclave Creationをインストールしている場合、一部の兵士がその装備を使用することもあるとBethesdaは説明しています。
プラットフォーム別の対応内容
どの機能が使えるかは、プレイする機種によって異なります。PS5・Xbox Series X|Sではネイティブアプリと画質設定が追加され、PCではワイド画面対応などが案内されました。PS4・Xbox Oneにも無料アップデートが配信されましたが、Bethesdaの発表では安定性、ログイン、クエストなどの修正が中心です。

PS5・Xbox Series X|Sの画質・性能モード
以下はBethesdaが発表した目標仕様です。実機で独立測定された結果ではないため、実際のフレームレートや表示は環境によって変わる可能性があります。

修正された問題と2026年の後続修正
2024年4月のパッチノートでは、Bethesda.netへのアクセス（日本語・中国語ユーザー向けを含む）、プロローグのセーブデータ読み込み、Vault 111のドア、クエスト進行、Codsworth、DLCのミップマップ、Preston Garveyの会話停止、パワーアーマーでのファストトラベル中の自動セーブ、居住地データの破損などへの修正が列挙されています。PC、PlayStation、Xbox、Creation Kitそれぞれに関する修正もあります。これはBethesdaが対処したと記載した問題であり、すべての不具合が解消されたことを保証するものではありません。2024年4月の公式パッチノート

アップデートを入手する際の注意
Bethesdaはアップデートを無料と案内し、コンソールでは対象デバイス用のFallout 4を所有している必要があると説明しました。つまり、アップデート自体は有料追加コンテンツではありませんが、ゲーム本編の所有が前提です。現在の販売状況やエディション、地域ごとの配信条件はストアによって異なるため、購入前に利用する地域の販売ページを確認してください。2024年のGOGに関する告知は当時の配信状況についてのもので、現在の販売状況を示すものではありません。
