Fallout 76’s current nuke codes are Alpha: 66835244, Bravo: 06206397, and Charlie: 17189221. The unofficial weekly-code reference lists them as valid until 00:00 UTC on Friday, October 9, 2026 (8:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, October 8). Codes can change at reset, so check the selected silo’s code again before entering it.

Fallout 76 nuke codes this week

Silo Code reported through October 9, 2026, at 00:00 UTC
Alpha 66835244
Bravo 06206397
Charlie 17189221

These are distinct eight-digit codes: enter the one matching the silo you entered. The values and expiration time are reported by Fallout 76 Challenges, an unofficial fan reference, not Bethesda. Verify the code shortly before committing your keycard.

What you need before launching

A code by itself is not enough. Bethesda’s “I Am Become Death” quest guide says the quest begins through the Whitespring Command Center and nuclear training, with “Officer on Deck” as a prerequisite. Its stated goal is “to complete training on Nuclear Missiles and to launch a Nuclear Missile.”

  • Progression access through the relevant quest requirements.
  • A Nuclear Keycard, which is single-use.
  • Completion of the chosen silo’s objectives.
  • The current code for that same silo.

The conventional in-game method is to collect eight code pieces for your chosen silo and decrypt them using the cipher key. Bethesda says code pieces last one week. Many players instead consult the shared weekly code reference and enter the decrypted code directly; that is a community practice, not an official Bethesda shortcut.

How to launch a nuke

  1. Choose a silo. Select Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie, then use only that silo’s current code.
  2. Reach the launch console. Enter the silo and complete its objectives. Bethesda describes Mission: Countdown as five major events involving objectives defended against robots; see its Mission: Countdown guide. Bethesda recommends tackling the automated silo with a group.
  3. Use the Nuclear Keycard and enter the code. At launch control, use the card and enter the matching current eight-digit code.
  4. Select a target. Choose the map location to irradiate, then complete the launch.

The community guide offers room-by-room tactical details, including biometric identification, reactor repair, mainframe cores, and launch preparation. Treat those as unofficial guidance; Bethesda’s quest pages establish the broader requirements and launch sequence.

Check carefully before using the keycard

Bethesda warns that entering an incorrect launch code consumes the single-use Nuclear Keycard. Firing a nuke also uses the card. Confirm both the silo and all eight digits before submitting them; an error can mean repeating the process if you do not have another card.

What a nuke changes

After you select a target, Bethesda says the area becomes irradiated for a time. Enemies there become stronger and drop better gear, while resources become irradiated versions found in fallout zones. The community code page lists targets associated with events, but those target-to-event details are not confirmed by Bethesda’s cited guidance.
