The Fallout Pip-Boy 3000 Replica is a detailed wearable collectible for fans of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, with an on-device interface and novelty functions including a radio, flashlight and clock. It is not established as a smartwatch or a controller that syncs with those games. This review is specifically about the game-inspired Pip-Boy 3000—not the TV series’ Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V or the older Fallout 4 phone-holder edition.
What this Pip-Boy is—and what it is not
Bethesda describes the Pip-Boy 3000 as a wearable 1:1 replica built around the in-game geometry and content of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. It is a standalone replica with its own screen and features. The product information and manual do not establish that it connects to a console, controls a game, or syncs gameplay data, so buyers should treat it as a collectible and cosplay prop rather than a gaming peripheral.
There are several different products that can be called a Fallout Pip-Boy. The current game-inspired 3000 is distinct from the TV-series Mk V, and both are distinct from the limited Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition, a phone-holding shell made for use with that game’s companion app. Bethesda Support describes the latter as a one-time limited release; it is not the same product class as this standalone replica (Bethesda Support).
What the Pip-Boy 3000 replica does
The Bethesda listing specifies an IPS LCD screen and the Atomic Command minigame. The manufacturer manual describes additional functions: Fallout 3 and New Vegas modes, more than 40 screens, FM radio, an LED flashlight, a simulated Geiger counter, and clock and alarm functions. These are manufacturer-described features, not a claim about independently tested performance.

The machined metal stand gives the device a display option and can support clock use on a desk or nightstand. Construction, fit and setup
The game-inspired 3000 combines a die-cast metal front with an injection-moulded ABS body and a memory-foam cuff. It is a heavily detailed prop, so its purpose and form factor differ from an everyday wearable. Numeric arm sizing and measured comfort are not specified in the cited product information; fit should not be assumed from the “wearable 1:1 replica” description alone.

The manual instructs the wearer to insert the left forearm and close the latch carefully. If the cuff feels loose, it advises moving the replica farther up the forearm or wearing it over a sleeve. If it feels tight, the foam padding can be removed and/or the spacer bar fitted. These adjustments are useful, but they are not a substitute for a published arm-circumference range.

The Mk V is a separate design based on the Fallout television series. Its 2024 manufacturer manual lists a 3.5-inch 320 × 480 TFT LCD, a die-cast zinc and ABS housing, FM radio and speaker, and a foam cuff liner. Those specifications belong to the Mk V, not the game-inspired Pip-Boy 3000 reviewed here.

At the time the pages were accessed, Bethesda’s international listing showed the Pip-Boy 3000 at $345 and “In stock,” while its US replica collection showed a 3000 listing at $299.99. Those are storefront-specific displayed prices, not a reconciled worldwide price: currency presentation, taxes, shipping and configuration may differ. Check the relevant official regional listing before buying, since stock and prices can change. The US collection also showed the Mk V Overseer’s Edition as preorder and the standard series replica out of stock at access; those statuses apply to that edition and may change.

Who should buy it?
This replica makes the most sense for a collector or cosplayer who specifically wants the Fallout 3/New Vegas version and values its detailed construction, on-device screens and display stand. Its documented cuff adjustments offer ways to alter fit, but the lack of a stated size range means buyers should not assume it will suit every arm comfortably. If the main goal is a screen-connected gaming accessory, the cited product information does not establish that capability.
Before ordering, verify the exact model name, the storefront for your region, the current price and stock, and whether you want the game-inspired 3000 or the TV-series Mk V.
