Epic’s support guidance says limited-time promotions must be claimed before the stated deadline. It does not describe a method for reclaiming an expired giveaway, so visitors who did not add the game during that week cannot obtain it free through that promotion now.
Can I still claim it for free?
No. The 2024 giveaway has ended. Installing the Epic Games Launcher or creating an account today will not restore the expired entitlement.

How Epic’s weekly giveaways normally work
Epic generally releases a new weekly free game on Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. PT. Each promotion normally lasts seven days, and a claimed title stays in the player’s library even if it is downloaded later. Epic requires an Epic account with two-factor authentication enabled for claiming.
Rank #2
- Included in the pack is the Kubota M8, the largest Kubota tractor to date. With its spacious cab interior and an all-round view to oversee fields, the tractor promises virtual farmers the best seat in their farming “office”
- Also featured are M5, M6, and M7 tractors, as well as skid steers, track loaders and utility vehicles, to handle day-to-day farming tasks like loading and transporting goods with modern, versatile and powerful tools
- With two capable utility vehicles, including the fast and agile Sidekick and the versatile and durable RTV-X1140, players can quickly deliver products or discover and roam the lands – even together with some companions in the passenger seats. New outfits are added to the wardrobe, too. Players can put Kubota-branded clothes on to show off their brand affiliation
Those are general program rules, not evidence that Farming Simulator 22 is currently free. Epic also says it does not provide advance information about upcoming free games.

Options for readers who missed the giveaway
Buy a current digital edition
You can look for a legitimate PC or console edition through the relevant store. Check the platform, edition and any included expansions before buying; the expired Epic promotion cannot be converted into a purchase entitlement.
Consider physical PC media
The official PC manual documents installation from a DVD, so a physical PC edition is another possible route. The manual does not establish current retailer stock, pricing or availability. Verify those details and the edition’s compatibility before ordering.
Check your existing libraries
If you may have claimed the game in 2024, search your Epic Games Library rather than the store’s free-games page. A delayed download does not remove a properly claimed title.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Farming Simulator 22 was free on Epic from May 23–30, 2024, but that giveaway is over. Only players who claimed it during the window retain it as a free Epic library title.
