She isn’t just another Hunt unit chasing crit numbers; she’s a tempo-driven carry designed to dominate boss-centric content where turn control, action frequency, and clean rotations matter more than raw screenshots. If you’re tired of watching Memory of Chaos bosses survive at 2 percent HP because your DPS fell out of sync, Feixiao is built to solve that exact frustration.
Role and Path: A Hunt DPS Built Around Tempo
Feixiao’s core identity is a main DPS Hunt unit with extreme consistency against elite enemies and bosses. Unlike burst-only carries that spike once per cycle, her kit rewards sustained pressure through frequent actions, follow-ups, and reliable damage windows. This makes her especially lethal in Memory of Chaos floors where turn count efficiency directly impacts star clears.

This gives her value even during off-rotations or when a boss enters damage reduction phases.

Why Feixiao Matters in the Current Meta
The current meta heavily favors DPS units that can convert speed, buffs, and team investment into real turn economy. Feixiao excels here, scaling aggressively with Speed, crit stats, and offensive supports like Harmony buffers or debuff amplifiers. She fits seamlessly into both premium hypercarry teams and more accessible F2P cores without losing her identity.
What truly sets her apart is how future-proof her design feels. As endgame content continues to punish slow clears and inefficient rotations, Feixiao’s ability to stay active, pressure bosses every cycle, and avoid dead turns gives her lasting value. She’s not just strong on release; she’s built for the direction Honkai: Star Rail is clearly heading.

Understanding Feixiao’s Kit – Skill, Ultimate, Talent, Traces, and Core Damage Mechanics
Feixiao’s entire kit is designed around one idea: converting Speed and frequent actions into reliable, repeatable damage. Unlike Hunt characters that hinge on a single nuke, her power is spread across Skill uptime, follow-up pressure, and Ultimate windows that reward clean rotations. Understanding how each part feeds into that loop is the key to building and piloting her correctly.
Skill – The Engine of Her Turn Economy
Feixiao’s Skill is her primary damage button and the core of her rotation. It deals Wind damage to a single target while advancing her damage loop through internal stacking or follow-up triggers tied to her Talent. This means every Skill use isn’t just raw damage, but also setup for more actions or bonus hits.
What makes the Skill shine is its efficiency. It scales cleanly with crit stats and benefits heavily from Speed, letting Feixiao cycle turns faster than most Hunt units. In practice, this keeps pressure on bosses even during low-buff windows, which is invaluable in Memory of Chaos.
Ultimate – Controlled Burst, Not One-and-Done
Feixiao’s Ultimate delivers a high-damage Wind strike with additional effects that amplify her sustained output rather than ending her turn cycle. Instead of blowing everything at once, the Ultimate enhances her next actions or triggers bonus hits that stack with her Talent.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThis design makes her burst feel deliberate rather than desperate. You want to line it up with buffs, but missing a perfect timing doesn’t gut her damage. That consistency is a huge advantage in long fights or wave-based content like Pure Fiction.
Talent – Where the Real Damage Lives
Her Talent is the glue that binds her kit together. Through conditional follow-up attacks, stacking buffs, or bonus damage triggers, the Talent ensures Feixiao is always contributing damage even outside of her main turns.
This is why Speed is so valuable on her. More actions mean more Talent procs, which translates directly into higher DPS over time. It also reduces RNG reliance, since her damage isn’t locked behind crit fishing or one-shot thresholds.
Traces – Scaling That Rewards Investment
Feixiao’s major Traces focus on improving Skill uptime, enhancing Talent damage, and smoothing Ultimate rotations. Common themes include Speed conversion, bonus damage against debuffed or weakened enemies, and minor survivability that helps her stay aggressive without babysitting.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Her minor Traces reinforce standard Hunt priorities: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and Speed. There’s no wasted stat padding here, which makes her extremely efficient to build compared to characters with awkward scaling paths.
Core Damage Mechanics – Why Speed and Consistency Matter
Feixiao’s damage profile is best described as sustained pressure with burst spikes. She doesn’t wait for one perfect turn; she creates multiple high-value turns through Speed tuning and Talent interactions. This makes her rotations forgiving while still rewarding optimization.
In endgame content, this translates to better turn economy and cleaner clears. Bosses don’t get breathing room, waves collapse faster, and damage remains stable even when buffs fall off. That’s why Feixiao isn’t just strong on paper; she performs where it actually counts.
How This Shapes Her Builds and Playstyle
Because her kit scales horizontally across many actions, Feixiao prefers builds that maximize consistency. High Speed, balanced crit ratios, and damage amplifiers outperform greedy all-in setups. Light Cones and relics that reward frequent attacks or Skill usage align perfectly with her design.

Give her turns, give her buffs, and let her kit do the rest.
Stat Priority & Scaling Explained – What Feixiao Actually Wants and Why
Everything about Feixiao’s build flows naturally from how her kit converts actions into damage. She isn’t chasing a single explosive moment; she’s stacking value across turns, Talents, and follow-up pressure. That means her stat priorities are about frequency, reliability, and scaling efficiency rather than raw ceiling damage.
If you build her like a traditional Hunt nuker, she’ll still function. If you build her around how her mechanics actually work, she becomes oppressive in long fights and absurdly consistent in endgame rotations.
Speed – Her Most Important Stat, No Exceptions
Speed is the engine that makes Feixiao’s kit run. More Speed means more turns, more Skill usage, more Talent triggers, and faster Ultimate cycles. Unlike burst DPS units that spike once per rotation, Feixiao’s damage grows linearly with action count.
This also makes Speed a defensive stat by proxy. Acting more often lets her break enemies sooner, apply pressure before bosses act, and reduce incoming damage through turn control. In Memory of Chaos, this often matters more than a few thousand extra crit damage.
For most builds, hitting key Speed breakpoints matters more than chasing perfect crit ratios. Whether you’re F2P or premium, Speed boots are non-negotiable.
Crit Rate and Crit DMG – Balance Over Greed
Feixiao rewards consistent crits far more than massive crit numbers. Because her damage is spread across multiple hits and Talent procs, missed crits add up quickly and drag down overall DPS. This makes Crit Rate slightly more valuable than usual until you reach stable thresholds.
A clean, practical goal is around 70 percent Crit Rate before buffs, then stacking Crit DMG afterward. Supports like Bronya or Sparkle can push her over the edge, but her baseline stats should stand on their own.
Over-investing into Crit DMG while neglecting Speed or Crit Rate is the most common mistake players make with her. Feixiao wants reliability first, amplification second.
ATK – Strong, But Not the Main Event
ATK scales Feixiao’s entire kit, but it doesn’t unlock new breakpoints or mechanics. Think of it as a multiplier, not a trigger. Once Speed and crit stats are online, ATK becomes the best filler stat to push her numbers higher.

This is why ATK percent main stats on body or planar ornaments feel good but are never mandatory. Feixiao performs well even with modest ATK if her turn economy is optimized.
Light Cones with ATK bonuses are solid, but those that add damage effects or reward frequent actions tend to outperform raw stat sticks.
Energy Regen and Why She Doesn’t Need It
Feixiao’s Ultimate uptime is naturally smoothed out by her frequent turns and Skill usage. She doesn’t rely on Energy Recharge to function, and building it actively weakens her damage profile.
In optimized teams, she’ll Ultimate on schedule without sacrificing offensive stats. This is especially true in longer fights where her action count does the work for her.
Unless you’re experimenting with niche rotations or specific Pure Fiction setups, Energy Regen is a trap stat for Feixiao.
Break Effect, Effect Hit Rate, and Other Traps
Despite her aggressive playstyle, Break Effect offers minimal value. Feixiao is not designed around breaking as a win condition, and investing into it doesn’t meaningfully improve her clear speed.
Effect Hit Rate is similarly wasted. Her kit doesn’t rely on debuffs landing, and teams that pair her with debuffers don’t require her to contribute in that area.
If a stat doesn’t directly increase how often she acts or how hard her attacks hit, it’s probably inefficient.
Survivability Stats – Only If You’re Desperate
HP and DEF should never be prioritized, but Feixiao appreciates incidental survivability from substats. Her playstyle keeps her active and exposed, especially in aggressive Speed-tuned comps.
That said, proper team building solves this problem better than relic stats ever will. Shields, mitigation, and turn control keep her safe without compromising damage.
If you’re dying often, the issue is rotation or team synergy, not Feixiao’s stat sheet.
Putting It All Together for Endgame Optimization
At a high level, Feixiao wants Speed first, stable crit second, and ATK as the finishing touch. This priority holds true across relic sets, Light Cones, and team compositions.
F2P players benefit massively from this clarity because Speed-focused builds scale well without premium gear. Whales can push her ceiling higher, but the foundation remains the same.
When built correctly, Feixiao doesn’t feel fragile or inconsistent. She feels relentless, always acting, always pressuring, and always converting turns into tangible progress toward a clear.

Best Relic Sets for Feixiao – Optimal 4‑Piece Choices, 2‑Piece Mixes, and Substat Targets
Once Feixiao’s stat priorities are clear, relic selection becomes much more straightforward. Her damage doesn’t come from single oversized hits, but from acting more often than the enemy expects and converting those extra turns into consistent pressure.
The best relic sets lean into Speed manipulation, action economy, and clean offensive scaling. Anything that slows her down or bloats her build with dead stats actively works against her core design.
Best 4‑Piece Relic Sets for Feixiao
Eagle of Twilight Line is Feixiao’s premier endgame set and the one you should aim for if you’re pushing Memory of Chaos. The 4‑piece action advance after Ultimate perfectly complements her natural turn frequency, letting her chain actions in a way that feels borderline unfair when Speed-tuned correctly.
This set doesn’t inflate her sheet damage, but it massively increases real DPS by compressing turns. In longer fights, that extra action density outpaces raw stat bonuses from almost every alternative.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?

Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is a strong secondary option, especially for F2P or early builds. The Speed bonus is always relevant, and the teamwide Speed buff after Ultimate helps stabilize aggressive rotations where Feixiao is driving tempo for the entire comp.
While it’s slightly weaker for personal damage than Eagle, it’s more flexible and much easier to farm efficiently.
Strong 2‑Piece + 2‑Piece Mixes
If you don’t have a clean 4‑piece yet, mixing 2‑piece Speed and ATK sets is completely viable. Messenger Traversing Hackerspace paired with Musketeer of Wild Wheat gives Feixiao exactly what she wants: faster turns and stable scaling.
This setup is especially attractive for F2P players because both sets come from high-value Caverns that benefit multiple characters. You’re not locking your farming efficiency into a niche domain.

Planar Ornament Considerations
In the Planar slot, Space Sealing Station is the default choice and scales cleanly with her Speed-first build philosophy. Hitting the Speed requirement is trivial for Feixiao, and the ATK bonus translates directly into more damage per action.
Fleet of the Ageless is acceptable in team-focused builds, but it’s generally a downgrade unless the rest of your roster heavily benefits from the buff. Feixiao herself gains more from selfish stats than shared utility.

Avoid Energy Regen planars entirely unless you’re testing niche rotations. As established earlier, Energy Regen doesn’t fix any real problems in her kit.
Main Stats and Substat Targets
For main stats, Speed boots are non-negotiable. This is the single most important slot in her entire build, and using ATK boots is a straight-up damage loss outside of extremely specific setups.
Crit Rate or Crit DMG body depends on your Light Cone and substat quality, but consistency always wins. Feixiao prefers stable crits across many actions rather than gambling on massive spikes.
In substats, Speed is king until you’re comfortably tuned for your team’s rotation. After that, prioritize Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and ATK in that order. Flat stats are filler, and anything related to Break Effect or Effect Hit Rate is dead weight.
Endgame Relic Optimization Philosophy
The biggest mistake players make with Feixiao is overvaluing perfect relic bonuses instead of functional Speed thresholds. A “worse” set that lets her act earlier and more often will outperform prettier builds every time.
For F2P players, efficient farming and flexible 2‑piece setups get you 90 percent of her ceiling. Premium players can push further with optimized Eagle sets, but the underlying logic never changes.
If your Feixiao feels slow or inconsistent, the issue is almost always relic tuning, not team comps or Light Cones. Fix her Speed, and the rest of her kit snaps into place.
Best Planar Ornaments – Speed vs Damage Tradeoffs and Endgame Optimization
With Feixiao’s relic core established, planar ornaments are where you fine-tune how aggressively she plays the turn economy. This is the slot that decides whether she snowballs fights through sheer action count or leans into higher per-hit damage for shorter cycles. In endgame modes like Memory of Chaos, that distinction matters far more than raw stat totals.
Space Sealing Station – The Speed-First Default
Space Sealing Station remains Feixiao’s most consistent planar option and the baseline all other choices are measured against. The Speed requirement is trivial for her kit, and once active, the ATK bonus scales every part of her damage profile without forcing awkward stat compromises.

If you’re building her for stable clears, especially in Memory of Chaos floors with tanky elites, this is the safest and most reliable choice for both F2P and premium players.
Rutilant Arena – High Risk, High Ceiling Damage
Rutilant Arena becomes competitive only when Feixiao’s Crit Rate is already well-optimized. If you can consistently meet the threshold without sacrificing Speed, this set pushes her single-action damage noticeably higher, especially on Skill-heavy rotations.
The tradeoff is strict stat pressure. Many players lose Speed substats chasing Crit Rate, which can actually lower total DPS over a full cycle. Use Rutilant Arena only if your relic quality supports it naturally, not as a goal to force.
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth – Speed Threshold Optimization
Glamoth is an interesting hybrid option that rewards players who push Feixiao’s Speed into higher breakpoints. At lower Speed values, it’s inferior to Space Sealing Station, but once optimized, it offers competitive damage scaling without abandoning her turn-advantage identity.
This set is best suited for premium builds or highly tuned F2P accounts that can hit specific Speed thresholds consistently. In Pure Fiction, where turn compression matters less, Glamoth can pull ahead in raw damage scenarios.
Fleet of the Ageless and Why It’s Usually a Trap
Fleet of the Ageless looks appealing on paper due to its team-wide utility, but it rarely aligns with Feixiao’s optimal role. She’s a selfish DPS who converts personal stats into wins more efficiently than shared buffs.
Fleet only makes sense in tightly coordinated teams where multiple units scale exceptionally well with ATK and Speed is already solved elsewhere. Even then, the personal damage loss is noticeable in endgame benchmarks.
Endgame Mode Considerations – MoC vs Pure Fiction
In Memory of Chaos, Speed-focused planars outperform damage-centric ones more often than not. Acting earlier lets Feixiao delete priority targets, manipulate enemy turns, and stabilize difficult waves before RNG spirals out of control.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minutePure Fiction slightly shifts the equation. Since wave density is higher and turns are less constrained, damage-oriented planars like Rutilant Arena or optimized Glamoth builds can edge ahead if your Speed remains functional. The key is never dropping below the threshold where Feixiao’s rotation desyncs from the rest of the team.
F2P vs Premium Planar Optimization
For F2P players, Space Sealing Station with strong substats is the end of the conversation. It’s efficient to farm, flexible across builds, and forgiving if your Crit ratios aren’t perfect.
Premium players can afford to chase tighter thresholds and conditional bonuses, but even then, the gains are incremental. Planar ornaments should refine Feixiao’s playstyle, not redefine it. If a set costs you turns, it’s not an upgrade, no matter how good it looks on paper.
Light Cone Rankings for Feixiao – Best-in-Slot, Strong Alternatives, and F2P Options
Once planar ornaments are locked in, Light Cone selection becomes the single biggest lever for Feixiao’s performance. This is where her identity as a high-tempo, turn-advantaged DPS really comes online, and the wrong choice can quietly sabotage an otherwise perfect relic setup.
Recommended Free Tools
Because Feixiao scales aggressively with Crit and turn frequency, Hunt Light Cones that reward consistent actions and front-loaded damage massively outperform generic ATK sticks. Below is a tiered breakdown that accounts for Memory of Chaos pressure, Pure Fiction wave pacing, and realistic F2P constraints.
Best-in-Slot Light Cones – No Compromises
Feixiao’s signature Light Cone is, unsurprisingly, her best-in-slot by a noticeable margin. It synergizes directly with her kit by amplifying Crit damage and rewarding her for acting frequently, which aligns perfectly with Speed-focused builds and turn manipulation strategies.
What pushes it over the edge is consistency. There’s no awkward conditional downtime, no reliance on enemy debuffs, and no ramp-up period that punishes early turns. In both MoC and Pure Fiction, this Light Cone lets Feixiao start deleting targets immediately, which is exactly what endgame demands.
If you’re investing vertically into Feixiao, this is the Light Cone that turns strong relics into a dominant carry. Anything else is, by definition, a concession.

Top-Tier Alternatives – Premium Without Signature
Cruising in the Stellar Sea remains the gold standard non-signature option and is effectively Feixiao’s second-best choice. The free Crit Rate, bonus damage against low-HP enemies, and easy Superimposition access make it absurdly efficient for both F2P and light spenders.
This Light Cone shines in Memory of Chaos, where finishing enemies quickly prevents turn order collapse. In Pure Fiction, the execute-style bonus is less reliable, but the raw Crit value keeps it competitive regardless of enemy HP distribution.
Sleep Like the Dead is another premium alternative, especially for players struggling with Crit Rate thresholds. The built-in Crit Damage and safety net Crit buff help stabilize inconsistent builds, though its conditional nature makes it slightly less optimal in high-pressure rotations where RNG can spiral.
Mid-Tier Options – Usable, But With Clear Tradeoffs
Only Silence Remains can work on Feixiao, but it’s extremely mode-dependent. In low-target scenarios like certain MoC chambers, the Crit Rate bonus is solid and easy to maintain. The moment additional enemies enter the field, its value drops off sharply.
Swordplay is another situational pick that rewards repeated hits on the same target. It performs well in boss-focused content but struggles in Pure Fiction or multi-wave fights where Feixiao is constantly switching targets. If your team funnels damage into a single elite, it’s fine. Otherwise, it’s clunky.
These Light Cones aren’t bad, but they require you to play around their limitations. Feixiao prefers tools that adapt to her tempo, not ones that force her to slow down.
F2P Light Cones – Realistic and Efficient Choices
For true F2P accounts, Cruising in the Stellar Sea is the clear endgame solution and should be prioritized from the Herta Store as early as possible. At high Superimposition, it competes with gacha options and scales beautifully with Feixiao’s Crit-focused stat profile.
River Flows in Spring is a functional early-game option, but it falls off hard once enemies start applying chip damage or DoTs. The Speed bonus looks tempting on paper, yet maintaining full uptime in MoC is unreliable without heavy shielding support.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →If you’re using a 3-star Light Cone temporarily, prioritize Crit Rate over raw ATK. Feixiao’s damage curve rewards consistency far more than inflated base stats, especially before her relics are fully optimized.
Light Cone Scaling in MoC vs Pure Fiction
In Memory of Chaos, Light Cones that front-load damage and stabilize Crit checks perform best. You’re racing turn limits and elite mechanics, and Feixiao needs to secure kills before enemy actions snowball.
Pure Fiction flips the script slightly. While Crit still matters, Light Cones that reward frequent actions and flexible targeting gain value. This is where Cruising in the Stellar Sea remains excellent, while niche options like Swordplay lose ground.
No matter the mode, avoid Light Cones that require Feixiao to delay actions or wait for setup. Her strength is momentum, and your Light Cone choice should amplify that, not fight it.
Team Compositions & Synergies – Best Supports, Break Enablers, and Budget Teams
With Light Cones covered, the next step is building a team that actually lets Feixiao play at full speed. Her damage profile rewards frequent actions, reliable Weakness Breaks, and buffs that don’t require awkward setup windows. The best teams amplify her tempo while keeping enemies permanently pressured.
Core Synergy Principles – What Feixiao Actually Needs
Feixiao thrives in teams that accelerate turn cycles and force Breaks on demand. Speed buffs, Break Efficiency, and RES shred all scale her damage more consistently than raw ATK stacking. If a support slows rotations or demands strict ult timing, it usually works against her strengths.
She also prefers teammates who don’t compete for SP. Feixiao wants to skill frequently, especially in MoC where missing a Break window can cost an entire cycle. SP-neutral or SP-positive supports dramatically improve her reliability.
Premium Meta Core – Maximum Ceiling Teams
Feixiao + Ruan Mei is the gold standard. Ruan Mei’s Break Efficiency, RES PEN, and Speed buffs align perfectly with Feixiao’s kit, letting her shred toughness bars faster and convert Breaks into real damage. This duo is especially dominant in MoC against elite-heavy lineups.
Add a flexible debuffer like Pela or Silver Wolf to round out the core. Pela’s DEF shred is universal and SP-friendly, while Silver Wolf excels in single-target scenarios where implanting Wind Weakness guarantees Feixiao stays relevant. The final slot is usually a sustain that doesn’t disrupt tempo, such as Huohuo or Fu Xuan.
Break-Centric Teams – Playing Into Her Identity
Feixiao performs exceptionally well in dedicated Break teams built around Harmony Trailblazer. The Trailblazer’s Break buffs and follow-up synergy push Feixiao’s Break damage far beyond what traditional Hunt setups can reach. This composition shines in content where enemies have thick toughness bars.
Gallagher is another standout option here, especially for players lacking premium sustains. His healing scales naturally with Break playstyles, and he contributes meaningful Fire Breaks without draining SP. Together, these units let Feixiao stay aggressive without collapsing defensively.
Speed and Action Economy Teams – MoC Optimized
In Memory of Chaos, action economy is everything. Pairing Feixiao with Bronya or Sparkle turns her into a turn-hungry monster, letting her chain skills and ultimates before enemies can respond. Sparkle is particularly strong due to SP generation and Crit buffs that don’t require micromanagement.
Recommended Free Tools
These teams are less Break-focused but excel at brute-forcing cycles. They’re ideal if your Feixiao build leans harder into Crit stats rather than pure Break Effect. Just make sure your sustain can handle reduced defensive slots.
Pure Fiction Teams – Multi-Target Pressure
Pure Fiction values frequent actions and flexible targeting, which suits Feixiao surprisingly well when supported correctly. AOE debuffers like Pela gain extra value here, enabling Feixiao to clean up weakened waves efficiently. Ruan Mei remains excellent, but even budget buffers can keep rotations flowing.
Avoid overly single-target setups in this mode. Feixiao wants teammates who help her transition smoothly between enemies without downtime. If your team forces her to overcommit to one target, her score potential drops fast.
Budget & F2P Teams – Efficient and Realistic
For F2P players, Feixiao + Pela + Harmony Trailblazer is an extremely efficient core. This trio covers DEF shred, Break synergy, and SP economy without relying on limited units. Add a free or low-investment sustain like Lynx or Natasha, and the team is MoC-ready with proper relics.
Asta is another underrated budget option. Her Speed buffs help Feixiao reach key breakpoints, and her Fire application is useful in mixed-weakness stages. While she lacks the raw power of premium Harmonies, she keeps Feixiao’s tempo intact.

Rotation Tips – Making These Teams Work
Open fights by establishing Speed and debuffs before committing Feixiao’s burst. Breaking too early without buffs wastes damage, while waiting too long risks losing turns. The sweet spot is breaking immediately after your Harmony and debuff effects are online.
Above all, don’t overthink it. Feixiao rewards clean, aggressive rotations more than perfect optimization. If your team keeps her acting often, breaking consistently, and spending SP freely, you’re already playing her the right way.
Combat Rotation & Gameplay Tips – Skill Point Management, Ultimate Timing, and Break Windows
Feixiao’s damage ceiling isn’t locked behind raw stats alone. It lives in how cleanly you manage Skill Points, when you press Ultimate, and how well you exploit Break windows. Play her sloppily and she feels average; play her correctly and she erases cycles.
This section assumes you’ve already built around either Break Effect or Crit. The principles are the same, but the execution shifts depending on whether you’re fishing for Break bursts or brute-force DPS.
Skill Point Management – Feeding the Engine Without Stalling
Feixiao is SP-positive over long fights, but only if you resist the urge to spam Skill blindly. Her Basic Attack isn’t filler; it’s a tempo tool that keeps SP stable while still contributing meaningful damage. In MoC, this matters more than squeezing out one extra Skill early.
The golden rule is simple: Skill when it advances your Break plan or lines up a buff window. If you’re one hit away from Weakness Break, spend the SP. If buffs are down or enemies are already broken, Basic and let your supports do the heavy lifting.
This is where budget teams shine. Units like Pela, Harmony Trailblazer, and Asta naturally generate SP, letting Feixiao stay aggressive without draining the team. Premium Harmonies offer stronger buffs, but they’re often SP-hungrier, so your rotation discipline has to be tighter.

Feixiao’s Ultimate is deceptively easy to misplay. Pressing it the moment it’s available feels good, but it’s rarely optimal. The real damage comes when it’s layered on top of Break, DEF shred, and Harmony buffs.
In Break-focused builds, the Ultimate should almost always land immediately after Weakness Break. This lets you capitalize on the enemy’s vulnerability window and extend the Break damage payoff. Using it before the Break often wastes its highest-value hits.
Crit-oriented builds have more flexibility, but timing still matters. Hold Ultimate until buffs like Ruan Mei’s DMG bonus or Sparkle’s Crit boosts are active. One well-timed Ultimate does more than two rushed ones across a cycle.
Break Windows – Where Feixiao Actually Wins Cycles
Break is Feixiao’s win condition in endgame content. Whether you’re stacking Break Effect or not, triggering Break at the right moment is what compresses MoC cycles and spikes Pure Fiction scores. The goal is to break when Feixiao is next in the action order, not whenever the bar happens to hit zero.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchSpeed tuning matters here. If Feixiao is too slow, she’ll lose Break windows to supports or enemies recovering. If she’s too fast, she’ll act before debuffs are up. Aim for clean sequencing where debuffs land, Break triggers, and Feixiao immediately cashes in.
In mixed-weakness stages, don’t tunnel vision one enemy. Sometimes it’s better to soften multiple targets and choose the Break that aligns with your Ultimate timing. Feixiao excels when she controls the pace of the fight, not when she reacts to it.
Mode-Specific Gameplay Adjustments
In Memory of Chaos, patience wins. Holding SP and Ultimate for one perfect Break window often saves an entire cycle. Don’t panic if the first wave takes longer; Feixiao scales harder as rotations stabilize.
Pure Fiction flips the script. Frequent actions matter more than perfect timing, so be more liberal with Skill usage. Break windows are shorter, but chaining them across multiple enemies keeps your score climbing.
Across all modes, the mindset stays the same. Feixiao isn’t about pressing buttons faster; she’s about pressing the right button at the exact moment the enemy can’t respond. Master that, and the rest of her build finally makes sense.
Feixiao in Endgame Content – Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction Performance, and Investment Advice
Everything discussed so far comes to a head in endgame modes. Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction don’t just test raw damage; they test sequencing, Break control, and whether your investment choices actually translate into cleared cycles. Feixiao is built for this environment, but she rewards precision far more than brute force.
Memory of Chaos – Cycle Compression Through Break Control
In Memory of Chaos, Feixiao shines as a cycle-saver rather than a scoreboard DPS. Her best clears come from deleting elite enemies immediately after Weakness Break, not from slowly grinding them down. When piloted correctly, she turns one Break window into an entire phase skip.
Relic-wise, this is where her optimal sets matter most. A Break-focused setup with Thief of Shooting Meteor or a hybrid Break/Crit configuration consistently outperforms pure Crit builds unless you have premium Light Cones and top-tier supports. Planar ornaments that boost Break Effect or conditional damage amplify her ability to end fights before enemy rotations spiral.
Team composition is critical here. Ruan Mei is borderline perfect, extending Break windows and pushing Feixiao’s damage ceiling higher with minimal setup. Silver Wolf or Pela handle DEF shred and weakness manipulation, while a SP-positive sustain like Fu Xuan or Luocha keeps rotations clean without stealing tempo.
Pure Fiction – Action Economy Over Perfection
Pure Fiction changes Feixiao’s priorities entirely. Instead of hunting one perfect Break, she needs to chain frequent actions across waves of enemies. Her value comes from consistent AoE pressure and the ability to repeatedly trigger Breaks as new targets spawn.
In this mode, Speed and Skill uptime matter more than perfect Ultimate timing. Lean toward relic substats that push her action count higher, even if it means slightly lower per-hit damage. Light Cones that reward frequent attacks or provide unconditional damage bonuses tend to outperform burst-focused options here.
Support choices also shift. Sparkle and Asta gain value by accelerating Feixiao’s turns, while Break enablers still matter but aren’t mandatory. The goal is simple: keep Feixiao acting, keep enemies breaking, and never let the field stabilize.

F2P vs Premium Investment – Where Feixiao Actually Scales
For F2P and light spenders, Feixiao is refreshingly honest. She performs well at baseline with accessible relic sets and free or low-rarity Light Cones, as long as Break timing and Speed tuning are correct. You’ll clear MoC comfortably without needing signature gear, provided your rotations are tight.
Premium investment mainly smooths execution rather than redefining her role. Signature Light Cones and high-end supports raise her damage floor and reduce RNG, but they don’t replace the need for smart play. Eidolons add consistency and comfort, not a fundamentally new game plan.
If resources are limited, prioritize relic quality and team synergy over chasing upgrades. A well-built Feixiao with average gear will outperform a poorly piloted one with premium tools every time.
Final Investment Advice – Is Feixiao Worth Building?
Feixiao is an endgame specialist disguised as a flexible DPS. She rewards players who understand turn order, Break mechanics, and enemy behavior, and she scales naturally as your account grows. If you enjoy controlling the flow of combat rather than brute-forcing it, she’s an excellent long-term investment.
