Its rewards remained claimable through the end of Series 7, but that claim window has passed. Here’s how the series worked and what players can—and can no longer—do with its rewards.
When did PvP Series 6 start and end?
Square Enix launched Series 6 with the Patch 7.0 transition and ended it when Patch 7.1 arrived. The official Series 6 notice and Patch 7.0 notes describe that interval; the Patch 7.1 notes confirm the transition to the next series.

How did Series 6 progression work?
Taking part in any PvP duty earned Series EXP. That EXP raised your Series level and unlocked rewards through the Series Malmstones progression track. To check your progress, open Character > PvP Profile > Series Malmstones; the window shows your current level and the EXP needed for the next malmstone.
When a new series began, the prior series’ EXP and level reset and its reward selection was replaced. Trophy Crystals, a separate PvP currency, carried over between series. The official PvP Guide explains the system; it also notes that levels beyond 30 count as extra levels.
#1 Best Overall
- Adventure awaits you beyond the horizon in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
- This product is a digital 60-Day Game Time Card for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. It serves as a payment option that allows players to add 60 days of game time to their FFXIV account at the Standard subscription rate, subject to account limits. Both the game and game time are required to play.
- This product can be redeemed on service accounts registered with the Windows, Mac, PlayStation, or Steam versions of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. However, it cannot be redeemed on service accounts that have only the XBOX or Nintendo Switch 2 versions registered.
Could players claim Series 6 rewards afterward?
Yes, but only temporarily. Series 6 rewards could be claimed until Series 7 ended. During that window, players could open Character > PvP Profile > Series Malmstones and select Previous Series to access the earlier rewards. Square Enix documented that route in its Patch 7.1 notes.
That claim period ended with Series 7, so the Previous Series menu is not a way to claim Series 6 rewards now. The official guide describes the general claim system, but does not establish a current alternate route for obtaining these specific rewards.

Which rewards were in Series 6?
The official Series 6 launch notice presents reward images, but its accessible text does not identify the items or specify which malmstone level awarded each one. The official guide’s reward examples concern later series, so they should not be treated as a Series 6 item list. A reliable reward-by-reward list cannot be established from those official pages.
