What Intergrade includes
Intergrade bundles the main Final Fantasy VII Remake campaign, covering the story through the party’s escape from Midgar, with Episode INTERmission, a separate Yuffie-focused episode. It is the first, Midgar-centered portion of the broader remake project rather than a complete retelling of the original game.

The original Final Fantasy VII Remake first released on April 10, 2020, according to GameSpot’s game listing. Metacritic’s current Intergrade listing shows a January 22, 2026 release date and platforms including PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X. Choose PS5 for fidelity
If you have access to a PS5 and prioritize image quality and smoother gameplay, the PS5 version is the clearer fit. The Switch 2 port makes compromises in graphics and frame rate, according to TechRadar’s review, while PS5 reviews point to visual upgrades and a 60 FPS option.

Choose Switch 2 for portability
The Switch 2 version lets you take the full Intergrade package on the go, while still supporting docked play. TechRadar calls it the “second-best way to play” and says the graphical downgrades may not appeal to people with more powerful hardware.
