#1 Best Overall
- Adventure awaits you beyond the horizon in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
- This product is a digital 60-Day Game Time Card for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. It serves as a payment option that allows players to add 60 days of game time to their FFXIV account at the Standard subscription rate, subject to account limits. Both the game and game time are required to play.
- This product can be redeemed on service accounts registered with the Windows, Mac, PlayStation, or Steam versions of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. However, it cannot be redeemed on service accounts that have only the XBOX or Nintendo Switch 2 versions registered.
Pelupelu quests and trials
Patch 7.1 adds Pelupelu allied society quests and new trials. The official notes list the quest and duty details alongside their prerequisites; check those entries in the notes rather than assuming that every activity unlocks at the same point in the story.
Who can access Patch 7.1 content?
There is no single expansion requirement that applies to every feature in the update. The notes use requirement markers to show whether an addition needs the base game and earlier expansions, Shadowbringers, Endwalker, Dawntrail, or a combination. Some additions specifically require registration of Dawntrail, while others have different requirements. Check the marker beside the individual feature in the complete notes.
Rank #2
- Access to all expansion content from Heavensward and Stormblood, unlocking additional jobs, areas, story quests and more ways to explore: flying, swimming and diving
- A flexible class system that allows players to switch freely between a variety of classes and jobs, including new additions red mage and samurai, and reach the new level cap of level 70
- All the hallmarks of the FINAL FANTASY franchise, including an engaging storyline, genre-leading graphics, and HD real time cut scenes.
- Robust gameplay features such as player-managed Free Companies, diverse party finder features to group up with other players with ease, and a variety of fun activities in the Gold Saucer area, all designed to accommodate a dynamic player community.
- Challenging trials, dungeons and raids for groups of up to 24, and exciting player-vs-player (PvP) content for groups of up to 72 players
Quest and duty access may also depend on character progression. The notes provide the relevant quest prerequisites and unlock details where specified; they do not mean every player can enter every new duty immediately after installing the patch.
What changed in systems and quality of life?
Among the practical updates are changes to outfit glamour storage, shop navigation, bulk purchasing, and crafting workflows. These are examples from a broader set of system updates in the official notes.
Rank #3
- A new adventure awaits in Norvrandt
- New jobs, including gun breaker and dancer
- New playable races: Viera and Hrothgar
- Level cap increase from 70 to 80
- New cities to explore: The Crystarium and Eulmore
Outfit glamour storage
Storing equipment as an outfit glamour removes dyes previously applied to the stored pieces. To store a set, all pieces must be stored together, and every piece must be of the same quality. Account for the dye change before putting a dyed set into outfit storage.
Bulk purchases
For certain items bought in sets, the maximum total quantity that can be purchased increased from 99 to 999. The maximum number of sets remains 99; the higher limit applies to the total quantity of eligible items, not the number of sets.
Rank #4
- Customer must have Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to play Stormblood
- Increased level cap up to level 70
- New Jobs – Red Mage and Samurai
- New Beast Tribe and Primal
- New Alliance Raid
Shop and crafting interface
The shop menu was unified, and crafting actions can now be executed from the calculations window. These changes streamline access to the relevant functions without changing the separate unlock requirements for the content itself.
Which features were scheduled after Patch 7.1?
The original 7.1 notes identified several features as later-patch releases, not as 7.1 launch content. Those schedule entries describe the plan published with the 7.1 notes; they are not a current release calendar.
