3. Test DLSS only if it is available

6. For a repeatable save-load crash, protect your saves before a folder reset

8. Send the developer useful reproduction details
If the crash continues, the developer’s pinned post asks players who still have trouble and meet the minimum requirements to open a discussion. Steam also lists [email protected] as the support email. Include enough detail to make the failure reproducible:
- Your CPU, GPU, RAM, and Windows version.
- The game version and any error message, such as “CreateProcess returned x” or “GPU Crash dump Triggered.”
- Whether it fails at startup, on a save load, during play, or while joining co-op.
- Whether it happens with every save or only one, and what you were doing just before the crash.
- Whether trying DirectX 11, updating the driver, or another controlled change affected the result.
Those error phrases appear in Steam search results and community thread titles; they are examples of reported wording, not evidence that a particular cause is common. Open the developer’s pinned discussion or contact the support email listed on the Steam listing.
