The Fish It Diamond Rod Update was reported to launch on January 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. That date has passed, so any countdown attached to the original announcement is no longer counting down to an upcoming release. The launch schedule and expected update contents below were reported by TechWiser; the original developer announcement was not available to independently verify them.
When did the Fish It Diamond Rod Update release?
TechWiser reported the launch for January 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM PT. Its published schedule gave the following corresponding local times. These are TechWiser’s conversions, not independently confirmed timings from the game’s developers.
| Time zone | Reported local launch time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | January 3, 2026, 4:00 PM |
| Eastern Time (ET) | January 3, 2026, 7:00 PM |
| Central European Time (CET) | January 4, 2026, 1:00 AM |
| India Standard Time (IST) | January 4, 2026, 5:30 AM |

| Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | January 4, 2026, 10:00 AM |
Is there still a countdown?
No live countdown to this release is relevant now: the event was scheduled for January 3, 2026, and has passed. The countdown embedded in TechWiser’s article was for the near-term event when that page was published on the release date; it should not be treated as a current timer.
What was expected in the update?
TechWiser’s January 3, 2026 article described the Diamond Rod, Christmas Cave time buffs, new quests, and a three-hour MEGA Luck event as update features, with some details presented as expected or likely. Because the underlying developer announcement and original wording were not retrieved, these should be understood as reported expectations rather than independently verified patch-note facts.
