If Genshin Impact’s HoYoLAB daily check-in says you’re logged out, doesn’t recognize your character, or fails to record a reward, start by checking the account and refreshing your sign-in. Then test the official site or app in another browser or interface, and verify the claim state before trying again. These steps are low-risk checks, not guaranteed fixes.
1. Make sure HoYoLAB is using the right account
The community check-in is a HoYoLAB account workflow, not a Genshin Impact in-game daily commission. If the page does not show your Genshin character, sign out and sign back in with the account you use for Genshin, then check whether the character appears. Players have recommended matching the game and HoYoLAB account details in community discussions, but that is user advice—not an official diagnosis or support instruction. 2. Refresh your HoYoLAB login session
If HoYoLAB says you are logged out while you appear to be signed in, sign out, sign back in, reload the check-in page, and try the claim once more. A user has reported being sent back to a login prompt despite an apparently active session; that makes an inconsistent session a possibility, but does not establish the cause of your problem or a universal fix. 3. Try another browser or official HoYoLAB interface
Open the current official HoYoLAB website in a different browser, or try the official HoYoLAB app if you were using the website (and vice versa). A user report says switching browsers resolved their issue, but treat this as a diagnostic experiment: if it works elsewhere, the problem may be limited to the original browser session or interface. Use the current official site or app. Old event links may no longer lead to the present check-in page. Avoid unofficial automation extensions: they are not an established fix, and one public extension’s author notes that CAPTCHA can block it and that installation requires browser developer mode. 4. Check the claim state and reset timing
Reload the page and inspect whether today’s reward is already marked claimed or appears in the reward history before clicking repeatedly. HoYoverse’s Help Center article, updated October 7, 2025, says: “Your Daily Sign-In resets each day at 04:00 (UTC+9).” However, that article does not clearly identify the Genshin HoYoLAB community check-in, so its reset time cannot be assumed to apply to this event. If the check-in still will not work
If the issue persists on both the official website and app, contact HoYoverse/HoYoLAB customer support. Include details that help identify where the failure occurs:
- The exact error text or what happens when you press the check-in button.
- Your device and browser, or whether you used the official app.
- Your region and Genshin server.
- Whether your Genshin character appears on your HoYoLAB account.
- Whether the reward is shown as claimed in the page or reward history.
Player discussions document login loops, character-recognition concerns, and unresponsive pages, but they do not establish how common these problems are or prove that an outage is affecting players now.
