Perché Fortnite non funziona a schermo diviso su Switch
La compatibilità di Fortnite con Nintendo Switch non significa che tutte le funzioni siano disponibili su ogni piattaforma. Nella propria pagina di supporto sullo split screen, Epic elenca Nintendo Switch tra le piattaforme sulle quali il multigiocatore locale non è supportato. - Collega un secondo controller.
- Seleziona con il secondo giocatore il suo account console. Gli account ospite e Quick Play non sono supportati; potrebbe essere necessario collegare un account Epic Games.
La modalità locale funziona durante le partite, non nella lobby o nei sottomenu. Richiede una connessione internet stabile; se un giocatore esce o perde la connessione, la sessione termina. I giocatori usano la stessa lingua e non condividono l’inventario. Epic esclude inoltre Creative, le modalità a tempo limitato, Salva il mondo, Ranked e Solo. Se l’obiettivo è giocare sullo stesso schermo, l’alternativa indicata dalla documentazione Epic è usare una console PlayStation o Xbox compatibile. Passare a un’altra piattaforma comporta un costo e può richiedere di adattarsi agli account e all’ecosistema di quella console; le fonti Epic citate non confrontano prezzi o modelli specifici. La pagina ufficiale elenca anche Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite e Switch 2 tra i dispositivi compatibili con Fortnite, ma questa compatibilità non aggiunge la funzione split screen.
