Fortnite added the Tesla Cybertruck in update v30.30 on July 23, 2024. It is a vehicle cosmetic, not a new drivable vehicle type, and Epic’s shop listing currently marks it unavailable. If you already own it, find it in the Locker under Cars → SUV/Truck → Car Body—not Sportscar.
When did the Cybertruck arrive in Fortnite?
Fortnite’s verified channel announced the arrival in a trailer published July 22, 2024: “The Cybertruck arrives in Fortnite in v30.30 on July 23, 2024.” Watch the official Fortnite announcement.

The launch was part of a 2024 crossover with Rocket League. Its Summer Road Trip challenges ran from July 23 to August 6, 2024, with additional event rewards listed for the Item Shop from August 7 to 21, 2024. Those dates describe a past promotion, not an active way to earn the items. See the Rocket League Summer Road Trip announcement.
How do I get the Cybertruck in Fortnite now?
The official Epic listing gives a 2,800 V-Bucks price for a bundle containing the Cybertruck, variants and customizable decals, but the retrieved listing labels the car body “Currently Not Available.” That displayed price is not a current offer. Item Shop availability can change, so check the live in-game shop for any return before planning a purchase. Check Epic’s Cybertruck listing.

During the 2024 promotion, players could earn the Cybertruck car body and other rewards through Rocket League Summer Road Trip challenges; the event also included limited Item Shop availability. Neither the old challenge windows nor the historical shop listing guarantees current access.

Can you use the Fortnite Cybertruck in Rocket League?
The 2024 crossover supported cross-game ownership for the Cybertruck car body and specified cosmetics: Epic’s Fortnite listing says buying the bundle makes it available in Rocket League, and the Rocket League event announcement describes eligible rewards as usable across both games. This is not a blanket guarantee that every Cybertruck item or any future purchase will transfer; the original eligibility applied to the promotion and items it named.

Epic’s listing presents a Cybertruck bundle with car variants and customizable decals. In Fortnite, the car fills the SUV slot in experiences that use vehicle cosmetics. It changes the vehicle’s appearance; it does not add a distinct gameplay vehicle or replace the game’s vehicle systems.
